Great sandwiches

My office is also on Turner Road - and many times I get my driver to get the sandwich of my choice. The sandwich order form is a great idea - as it helps me to have exactly what I want. This is something difficult to do for a subway, for example.

I have tried a few sandwiches already - some with swiss emmental cheese. Everytime - the sandwich has been excellent. The total cost of a sandwich works out to between Rs 150 and Rs 200. I thought this was on the higher side - but now they throw in a small wafers pkt for free. So I think the entire mini lunch is very good value for money.

Bandra's Best Bakery

To see the service in your eyes & to feel the taste in your tongue, one must definitly visit, The French Loaf in Bandra, they are the Best. Breads, Pastries, Savouries, Spot-Sandwich (you can make your own sandwich in just 10 min), and awsome Cakes. What else one wants from a Bakery. Taste any product here, will definitly be a feast to your tongue. Just try once, you'll start repeating by yourself.

Great sandwiches

I've been to The French Loaf twice now for a sandwich. Everything is freshly prepared to order and so you might have to wait 5 or 10 minutes, but that's the price you will have to pay for quality :o)

The cakes and savouries take up 2-3 cabinets in the bakery and they all look good. I resisted temptation to try something when I last visited. Not sure how long I will last...

The prices are very good for what you get (free packet of chips a la Oberoi cafe-style), and the service is tip-top. Overall it's great for grabbing a quick bite, whether eat-in or take-away.
