an idea whose time has come... 2010-07-16
after having a fantastic start with a name such as "teapot cafe" sad to say lots of things lacking thereafter in terms of food, service n management!! can do a lot better and i hope they do it! but expect it to b super occupied and crowded thereafter. -

This sweet little café, located at Fountain, near Bombay House is definitely a hidden treasure! I’ve been wanting to go there since more than a year now and after finally discovering it, I feel super satisfied!
Food- The food on the menu is varied consisting of omlettes, crepes, waffles, pastas, quiches, pizzas, burgers, pastries, puffs, cheesecakes, tarts and what not! They also have coffees, iced teas, tea, milkshakes and many more refreshments. The first time I went there, I tried the Veg corn and cheese quiche which was quite bland and not that great. Cafe , so what ? 2010-04-08
I had been there . tried Chicken Dhansak Rice. The rice was bland, need to add salt, Chicken was O.K., Dal was very thick type, need to be little thin. The Kachumber / salad was litte and without any salt .After food, asking for tooth=pick ,which is not available , as it is CAFE ,as owner told me.Attendant/ helper / server needed neat and clean clothings. -

Amidst the rush of joints; mainly south-indian, and otherwise, roadside stalls, 'The Teapot' brews its fresh concoction right into your face, mainly spearheaded by the owner + cook who personally caters to not just the food, but to work up a casual demeanour. Steering away from the stereotyped Barista and Cafe Coffee Day, the range of food, here actually makes this a more do-able joint.

went with a couple of friends ..... the food was good .... coffee and ice teat a little better and the service was best ....... whats best about the cafe is the hospitality of the owner .... she is always there and is good ..... she has done good work with the ambience ....coming to the food .... first drinks ... ice tea was really good ...coffee was good .... black coffee was ok ... U have to keep damera (brown sugar) if u call ur self a cafe ....coming to the food .... pasta and keesh was good ....
