very very slow service 2012-05-13
Been calling up Tosa since 6pm but phone is engaged - probably kept on side. Visited here on Sunday 8:30p. Waiting was supposed to be 45 mins but took 1hr 15 mins. Requested them to server starter in waiting area but were rudely refused. Got our table but one waiter with helper who Is also taking orders for eight table. Food is average n not worth wait. Would not recommend or come here again -

No charm or test left 2011-05-07
I used to admire Tosa for thier tradional Gujarati & Rajasthani Food. But in my last 2 to 3 visits i found that Quality of food served is going down with every visit.
Handvo, Undhiyu, Green Gujarat are just ok. Either oily or re cooked. SIncerly hope with increase in the rates of each item they improve quality also other wise Aditi next door will be more rewarding. -

Strictly average food and expensive 2010-11-18
This place is extremely expensive in comparison to the quantity, which is in extremely small portion! You can never be satiated after eating 4-5 dishes also. Some things on the menu are strictly average in taste. Half of the things on the menu are not available, I once ordered for a fondue and found it awesome, but the next time I went there, they stopped serving it:(. I wanted to have malpua, they didn't have that too. Their Pizza was too good. They have a speciality in Gujrati food, but thier gujju menu and most of the things on the menu are very bland in taste, the khichiyu and handvo are not... read more -

Try this one out in vile parle east 2010-08-28
Heyl, why don't you try this one out in vile parle east, its called Chit Chat , the mini food court.. they prepare all food instanty so erving may little time in rush hours but its acceptable as we get the fresh food.. and the prices are so easy on pocket that you will not believe, their menu have exciting range of pasta, nachos, brown bread sandwiches, 100% fresh fruit juices, icecreams, idlis, pizzas, hot dogs and crepes.. its simply lovable.. -

Confused kinda place !! 2010-08-26
Unfortunately I didnt have the best of experiences with this restaurant. Firstly the place is pretty much cramped up and secondly it seems to be a confused type of a restaurant. Its not able to decide which segment of the people its trying to satisfy! So you have everything from Marathi, Gujju, Rajasthani, Mexican, Punjabi, Italian, and what not types of food .... Unfortunately nothing stands out and also the food seems to be a bit pricey as compared to the portions! Sadly it has tried to be a jack of all trades ..... and got nowhere!!! -

Had been top this place wid my family and cousins. Parking is a problem though they have valet parking.
Had ordered almost every variety on the menu since we wer 15 ppl altogether. Everybody ordered their own thing ranging from chai to main course.
The main course was really bad. It was all sweet let it be misal, handva, dal dhokli and many more. I have had gujarati food many times but not as sweet as this place makes it. They tend to put sugar in every damn thing. Misal vch is a maharashtrian dish was way too pathetic. This is nt wat misal is. U get much better misals even... read more -

I went to this place on a rainy day with my wife for garma garam chai and sum pakodas...
We prefer not to have oily food outside but decided to take a chance in dis rest as it is managed by trupti(the leaders in catering service)....
we had heard great reviews of dis place here....as soon as we entered the place we saw the burrp certificate...The burrp certificate has become so common that we get to see it in every 2nd restaurant...
Anyways coming bck to the review....The place is located near vile parle(e) station nxt to ccd....The place is clean,well lit and maintained quite nicely...... read more -

Excellent Service and Food 2010-03-21
I went for a drama nearby and was finding a decent place for dinner - I did not have much time and wanted quick service and good food as well.
I found this restaurant really excellent with amazing food quality at moderate price and really quick service. The people there were really supportive and made sure my visit was best.
I had some amazing Gujarati/Marwadi food including Rice Khichyu which was amazing!
This place is totally recommended.
A dinner for 2 will cost you around 350-500 -
