Awesome food!highly recommended 2012-05-23
i went for the brunch.if u more into pizzas,pastas,soups,i highly recommend the sunday brunch.u get all that included in it.they have real italian pizzas..main course is good.salads r awesome.desserts r wide in variety..i couldnt taste everything as it was just too much!
so its worth the money -

Trattoria was a place that i wud frequent a few years back... Been there recently and well the food doesnt taste the same anymore,,
The tiramisu which was my absolute fav was a complete let down :( -

after reading many reviews..i finally decided to go to dis place for dinner on my b`day this month.. it was a friday night..de place was really crowded..but we got a table in like 5 mins..
Ambience - ambience of dis place is quite cozy with candle n flower..but the place was crazy..this was my 1st time in a 5 star hotel..n i expected it to be like wow..but it was soooo damn noisy..well i was kool with tht bcz even i m too loud..
Food - i `m a pure vegetarian..we were 2 of us ..so we called for a 9 inch pizza (650rs - 9"/ 750rs - 12" for any pizza)..pizza was good..but not gr888..h... read more -

the best pizza ever is at trattoria. Whenever I go to trattoria, I eat 2 cheese pizzas with olives. The taste is amazing -

Could have been better! 2009-11-29
I've been to various Taj properties over my career life, and Trattoria missed out on my list for the longest time. I did finally manager to make it there for a quiet lunch one fine day, and did not come back much impressed.
The ambience, is like sitting in any Taj restaurant so that was not so much a differentiating factor. The food was good, except for the maincourse. I've never had a pizza which had raw leaves all over it, and I don't even want to remember the name!
Out and out, a dissapointment! -

Have better memories of this Italian joint! 2009-11-14
Was a little disappointed with the deterioration in both - the quality of the food and the service!! The waiters could learn to be more attentive and somehow the food just didnt seem as delectable! We had pizza and pesto pasta and both were about average. I have better memories of this place! It used to be a mecca for people who love Italian food! -

Tratts- as I've grown up calling it.. never ever disappoints... the food has been consistently great every single time i've been here- mind u I've eaten here more than 100 times!!!!
If the food is good.. the service and staff is even better!! Nowhere else have I encountered such warm, friendly service!!
Yup its expensive no doubt.. but its just sooo good!!
Do go for the Sunday Brunch.. that is VFM.. huge spread.. yummy desserts.. great pizzas/pastas.. the best Ice tea in Town!!
Only drawback-- gets tooooo noisy at peak hours.. so if u looking at a cozy romantic... read more -

"am speechless" 2009-06-21
what can i say to this mastermind of Ananda Solomon..he has been working magic for many years now and i hope he continues to the same forever..comforting soups, mouth watering pizzas, just perfect pastas and even better desserts..love the fact that they have umpteen varieties for vegans like myself and an excellent staff who are v friendly and warm.
P.S. love the take away packaging.. a real piece of Italian life -

Excellent Sunday Lunch Buffet 2009-05-17
Had heard very nice things about the sunday buffet at trattoria. But the actual thing surpassed my expectations.
Fantastic spread of salads. The most amazing thin crust pizzas served on your table. Superb ravioli and many many other dishes. Desserts were excellent too, though I think they should also have tiramisu , which was missing.
At 1250 a head for non acoholic buffet, I wondered if I would be able to do justice to the price, but I am happy to say that I felt it was worth every rupee.

This is probably the best example of a restaurant selling fake rolex's. What do I mean? Quite simply that they have ruined the authenticity of real simple and wholesome Italian cooking. I mean you have to be really stupid to take such a fantastic cuisine and turn it into heavy, saucy and over seasoned garbage. I hate this restaurant with all my heart and if a genie ever gave me one wish I would go back in time and make sure it never opened.
