The food is certainly unique and the Ambiance is a mixture of old time tables, made to look modern with excessive use of glass. The tables are packed in a congested manner, but the unique charm still make it praiseworthy and ofcourse the food is unique.
Seafood apart from the cost of the catch was more or less home style with light masalas, predominantly having cocunut based gravys and rarely had I come across sea food with green gravy and never thought they paired very well.
But Trishna has managed to combine the north Indian cooking styles well with seafood and the blend is really awsome. their catch is fresh and the gravys are nice and rich.
The Hyderabadi gravy is a must try, be it with any fish. We tried the rawas and it was perfect. The Tandoori Fish too was very well made. Some people might complain about the food not being spicy, but seafood never tasted good spicy.
Their continental fair is also worth a try. The butter Garlic prawns were really great. The size of the prawns seemed more from the grade C category (in terms of size), but tasty none the less.
The place is parked in the by lanes of Kala Ghoda, which go absolutely shut after 8 pm, but the place is quite bustling with diners. A must visit atleast 3-4 times to try the variety they offer.
