    I visited this place today for lunch and here's my review:

    Decor: Very nice. Calm and pleasant. Very spacious.

    Service: The staff was nice and courteous. However, they lack finesse. They do not know how to time the different courses. They do not clear tables before bringing in the next course. There was nobody at the podium when I reached and the bar-tender escorted me to my table. By escorted, I mean showed me a table and then walked away. I seated myself.     Caution: We left after drinks and soup, so this is not a food commentary.

    Having heard good things online from almost everyone, we decided to visit Two One Two Bar and Grill, opp Jewel of India, Worli.
    The first thing you notice on approach is the outdoor seating which is out there, in the open, with no minimum fencing in terms of a little foliage, bamboo shoots, garden. It is open and faces the road, with a direct view of entry to Nehru Centre.

    Fantastic ambiance - really - this place is an oasis in the middle of Worli. We took advantage of the cool weather and sat outside on a high table under a white umbrella-like canopy - surrounded by plants listening to a soothing waterfall-like sound.

    They have a very nice alfresco area perfect which is for drinks. But wasn't cool enough that day so decided to sit inside. Please make a reservation and go because even on weekday they are fully booked. They have two slots 8:30 and 10:30. You can try your luck and just walk in as we did but then the table is small and doesn't fit everything on it.

    Food: The bread basket had a nice assortment of bread with some nice dips. Unfortunately there aren't too many options for veggies so finally just settled for a Margherita pizza and pasta in pesto. Good but nothing very exciting.

    So... Two One Two is a place that serves the best Italian food in town (yes, better than Olive, Tote, Indigo, Prato, Stella, Celini, etc), charges you a bomb but treats you like sh*t.

    Yeah, they are arrogant.Very arrogant. For a fine dining restaurant in a competitive service industry, they are lacking in "customer service". I have been there twice, both times the food was to die for, the place was brilliant & comfortable but the lower order wait staff was rude, heavy handed and full of themselves.     Good steaks for Mumbai but the best is the Camembert cheese starter and bolognese is superb. The biggest problem is with the reservation system. They always say they are full and when we go it's not. If this was sorted out I guess I would go a lot more

    Reserved a table for 10.30pm on a weeknight for dinner at Two One Two, Worli. Reached right on time. While I got out of my car, the dark stairs coupled with the plants at the entrance, invited me onto the porch of the restaurant. As I entered the restaurant, I was swiftly seated at table number 21. The wood paneled interiors were very classy and elegant, very easy on my eyes indeed. The bar area seemed large and spacious, unfortunately cannot comment on how well stocked it was as I am a teetotaler.     My second visit here in a month -

    Pizza Verdure - pizza with grilled veggies - superb, unusual and healthy !

    Veg Ravioli - Superb again

    Veg lasagna - Excellent !

    Tiramisu - The best I have had in Mumbai ----- superb , though I wish it was chilled when served ......tell them before hand to chill it if you plan to have it !

    Service could have been better. The waiter taking our order did not seem to know much or be able to recommend stuff - which you would expect in an expensive place as this.

    I love trying out new restaurant... but more often than not, I return disappointed but some aspect of the experience... and with a 90% failure rate of restaurants in Mumbai (i read this somewhere) im not surprised...

    however, two one two was far for disappointing- and infact im sure to be returning here many more times...

    Location - easily accessible from Annie Besant Road and yet away from the main road so that traffic noise doesnt kill the ambience... feedback to the owners- the music started off as gentle but at some point the volume was increased to a slightly uncomfortabl    ... read more
