I have never been a fan of restaurants housed in malls, but this one is an exception.
UT has always dished out the same quality and service all across their outlets, and this one is no different. They keep in mind that alongwith all the other thingamajig, their main business is to serve good food. And they do that to the T.
Try out the Nimbu Chicken, and it'll get your lips smacking. Love their limited menu, and that maybe their secret of serving good food within their limitations. The kebabs and other starter as equally good too. Love their Tamatar Da Shorba, the oh-so continental Tomato Soup with the Indian (Urban) Tadka. Ummmm...tongue tantalizing and palate soothing. :) Rest said, the veg fare and options are equally good too (respect this statement, when it comes from a die-hard non vegetarian). Only wish that their roomali rotis were as soft as the ones from Jaffer Bhai's Delhi Darbar down town near Metro.
The place is a little crowded but you don't seem to mind. Yes, it is a little noisy, but who cares, I ain't here for a quiet tete-a-tete, am just here to sink my hungry pangs into some delectable food.
The service is nice and homely, the suggestions are good. The manager makes sure that each table it well attended.
Was here the last week after holi, and they had two sardars dancing between the tables at the tune of a drum being bellowed insanely - a din at start, but after that only led to probably the only public appearance of wild bhangra dancing that I must have indulged in, that too after a tummy crunching dinner. Loved that.
Hope they stay good and continue making their patrons happier. Touchwood.
