Average Food, Irritating waiter ! 2012-04-22
the food was average, not at all value for money ! the waiter was stupid and Discourteous !
he was very arrogant while i was filling the comment card ! kept on talking crap the y did u mark average for the service, u shld have told me, how can u write that directly in the comment card, this is plain stupid !! -

Awful experience 2012-04-22
Good ambience with average food n pathetic service we ordered kababs which wer just average also the gravy of kadhai paneer was not good, naans wer chewey while commenting on comment card waiter was talking very roudly.. By saying - service ko average tick kyun kiya kya kharabi tha? Baadme hum log ko sunana padta hai sir se And he was staring at me n made me change it to good which was totally JABARDASTI -

Urban Tadka adds the 'Twist of Punjabi Food' as well as the atmosphere too...
The 'AMBIENCE' was just fabulous because they've used each and every stuff for the decor related to punjab, such as khatiya, long glasses(used for Bhaang), small lit lamps etc
(I wont tell you much or else you wont visit there :)
We had Missi Roti, Makkhan Naan, Dilliwala Chilly Paneer and Tawewali Sabji :)
The 'FOOD' was 'YYuUUmMMmmmmmMMMMmmMM...'
It just feels like you're having dinner in a punjabi's house !

I just love being at this place: nice dhaba ambiance and amazing food. I wont know much about the veg stuff here, but I can vouch for the chicken dishes...simply great. It does not just stop at the ambiance to give you the feel of a dhaba, but it ends up till your table wherein you would be served in steel plates and glasses. The chicken starters are awesome and I dont miss the Nimbu chicken. The Ambarsariya chicken is a good option for main course. Something to drink? - the list on the menu wont disappoint you. Gud fud - Equally bad service 2011-07-22
The food as many patrons have already mentioned is good.. Nimbu Chicken, Dilli Waale Chilli Chicken, Dal Khichdi, Chicken Abasariya, Kadi pakoda are dishes which will keep bringing me back to the joint. But the service always makes me wonder why again inspite of dismal service that they provided last time we were there... -

Good food but service lets you down!! 2011-04-26
We went to UT Mulund on 25-Apr-2011. Being a weekday, we didn't have to wait for a table as there was hardly any customers. However once we entered we escorted to Table 43 which was a seating for 6 and we were 8 guests.
After scrambling around, we were offered one extra chair.
We decided to order some drinks and the starters. however the drinks we ordered were not available, so we asked for some other drink options. Surprisingly there was nothing of our choice that was available. So we had to compromise on our selection.

Awesome food ! 2010-12-17
I have been a regular at UT, Mulund for the past 3-4 years now and this restaurant has never disappointed me. I always go for my favourites : Chicken starters ( Dhuandar Murg Tikka - Hot , Kandahari Murg Tikka - Medium , Malai Murg Tikka - Mild).
In the main course, i have tried most of the chicken dishes and all of them have been good.
Even tried the makke di roti & sarson da saag once... even that was awesome...
The UT style nimbu paani is an all-time favorite.
In desserts, nothing can beat the hot & succulent Jalebis and the Malai kulfi of UT.

We (my wife and I) reached Urban Tadka at 1900 hrs. It was full and we had to wait for 20 minutes. We are vegetarians. The food was worth the wait. Decent service. Nice ambience. Good food. Our menu was as under:
Shakahari Shami Kebab, Taweywali Sabzi, Missi Roti, Makai Ki Roti, Jalebi with Rabdi.
All the food was served hot. -
