Guy comes for just a couple of hours during the afternoon/evening.
If coming from town, take a left at mela, U turn park your cark at the corner & walk inside the one way. He is next to the pani puri wallah, who i understand does good business from the overflow as does the sandwichwalla.
But to the basics, he has vada, soft crunchy put in the soft pau with red chilli powder & handed over hot & sizzling. If you need another & do not want to wait, have the bhajjiya which are just as good. -

Vad a fuss about vadapav! 2008-03-30
Having heard that the vadapav guy beside the petrol pump was the best in town, I actually made two trips to the hath gadi just to find that in the morning this spot is occupied by the paani puri wallah. Finally I figured that this guy comes in at around four in the evening and within a space of two hours is all cleaned out.
I must say I find the idea of Vada pav quite revolting. According to me, the most beautiful batata wada has unwittingly become this bastardised iconic dish of Mumbai. So in all fairness, let me confess that I have never had the vada pav - only the pav. Of course the... read more -

Best Wadapav in the locality 2008-03-30
Super Hit, the taste is outta the world.
Nice and crispy........the wada and bhajiya are outta the world..
I have been going there for almost 5 years......best time is during monsoon........ ALso staff is ver polite and remember you by person if u r a regular....thats a big deal for a person who will meet over 500 people a day -
