Not worth it
I went to this place as my friend was insisting that it is a nice joint. But I must say it does not deserve it.
I had "Chicken Corinder Soup" and I could barely find chicken pieces in the serving bowl. I thought of enjoying hot soup as it was raining. But it was cold. Come on guys... have some hot soup and not the one which is as cold a cold drink.
Salad was ok.
Ordered Fresh Lime soda and it was hot.
I think these people got confused with this and soup.

I'd rather go to a foodcourt!
Again one star only cause I have to!
I wanted a light sandwich and salad for lunch and someone suggested this place. Well the food, hygiene, and ambience were sub par.
My friend ordered a salad from the salad bar and I went for the paneer burger. The salad station was mostly filled with carbs, I mean come on I understand that most Indians like chaats and aloo in their salads but at least provide ample greens and "normal" salads in your bar. Anyway, the salads weren’t covered and we went for lunch at 2pm and everything was stale. The paneer burger was hilarious, it was a paneer patty covered with masala, I mean OMG, disgusting, and one more thing..... Who puts cucumbers in a burger....cmon it doesnt work, it should be lettuce, tomatoes, and maybe onions.
The tables weren’t clean and the staff wasn’t motivated or courteous. I would not recommend this place to anyone; I would rather eat at a thela or a food court. And please recommend these people to sell this location to someone else; it’s appalling to see such a good location go to waste.

IN NEED OF MAKEOVER!!!!
I have been visiting this place since past 10 years. And I have to say it has gone down in the quality of the food. Few years back the soup and salad concept was very new in Mumbai and still we do not have that many options around. The worst part about JATC is that you can just fill up your plate one. I have seen people piling up their dishes like they have come from Sahara dessert!!! Now cmon..... stationed in Bandra you can price your meal b/w 200-300 and go in for unlimited serving just like the Soup-Salad-Sandwich-Dessert spread at Jazz by the Bay at Nariman Point. Also the sandwiches have degraded in terms of quality and quantity of the fillings. These guys definitely have to improve otherwise they will just be one of the joint around the corner........

Just good hang-out, stale food
Went to JTC after a long time. It used to be a good place earlier, but it seems they are loosing their way when it comes to food quality and service. I would definitely agree with the earlier reviewer.
I ordered a Veg Classic sandwich, which had nice filling, but discovered that the bread that they used was not fresh at all. Thats something which is not at all expected from JTC. One goes their to have some nutritious food and not stale.
I also ordered for a Watermelon juice, which just looked and tasted like Red-colored water. Nothing else....A street-side juice shop besides my office serves better watermelon juice than that. JTC's doesn't even come close. Click here to see its details Mother Mary Juice Center
Further, the service was too slow. They take so much time to clear the payments!

Neither here nor there
The first time I went to JATC was several years ago when the concept of a salad bar was very very new to Mumbai. I loved their spread, which one would not encounter easily.
But over time, the place and its offerings have become jaded. The salad servings are definitely not fresh and the meat looks like it has been there in those steel pots for over 2 days.
I agree with another reviewer that the apple pie is good, when you can manage to get it. Even the flans are nice and crusty.
Wish they would bring the zing back into this joint.
