Somewhat patronizing staff and overly forceful of their opinion on what you should have, giving the impression that they want to empty their leftovers. Food is ok. Overall, doesn't give a bang for your buck. Bombay Blues upstairs is a much better bet.

had gone for dinner ,despite knowing it was going to be an expensive one .dont mind paying the high price for the food as we hardly have food outside.but the attitude of the host or the manager (whoever he is) has made up my mind never to go there again.the ac was at full blast (i was sitting opposite to it)& despite a request to the manager to turn it a bit down ,he refused saying that switch did not work. then a whole bunch of foreign crowd trooped in &ooh la,his behaviour totally changed including the accent. one of the foreigner asked him 2 turn down the ac & that **** turned it down!magic!the switch worked for a foreigner but not for an indian citizen.talk about racial discrimination in your own country!

The Maharaja Daal here is amazing, but everything else is pretty substandard. Ordered a Sabzi Handi and it smelled rotten, so after a few nibbles, I dropped it. The Pineapple Raita, which sounded promising, ended up tasting mediocre and had no flare.
All in all, if you're looking for some good North Indian food, opt for Samovar at Jehangir. This place will leave you disappointed if you're familiar with how North Indian should taste. Must reiterate though the Maharaja Daal is fantastic, and if you're in the mood for just a bowl of daal, then this is your place.

had lunch here and the place is neat and clean with great interiors and is owned by a company called "blue foods" under which the restaurant "bombay blue" is also part of. So by mistake i went into Bombay Blue next door because the entrances are so similar and i had to go around and go to copper chimney.. the service was good just because there was no one else in the restaurant. Again the interiors are great, the furniture seems fairly new. A big plasma screen adds to the charm of the place that is brightly lit up. So i ordered a Paneer Masala which was horrible in Taste!!! i thought i was at copper chimney but maybe the original copper chimney in Worli had created higher expectations. So the food was not too good and to make it worse i found hair in my food. Price wise it's not worth it at all.... tooooo expensive - i would never go back .. bill came out to Rs 350 totally not worth it!!!!!!!!!!!!!! DONT GO HERE!
