The food was good but booking was not allowed on phone, the logic for which I fail to understand. For people coming to exclusive places and spending more would definitely want to book in advance.
However, some of my friends reached earlier as they were not booking and waited. and waited. and waited.
After about 1.5 hour of waiting (boy my friends had patience, of which I waited for half the time) and seeing people walk in with bookings (how? we asked but no reply) we went in.
The lighting is a bit suspect with some table well lit while others not so.
The food was good (whenever it came). The service was slow. The two stars are for the chef.

food spread was very varied by large but i guess the price is a bit high charged as everyone can not eat in that quantum Rs 390 per head in the buffet; available only on wed/ fri/ sat/ sun though weekends it is priced more than week days

Visited this place on a Sunday afternoon after reading a number of reviews in newspapers & burrp. They have buffets on wed, fri, sat & sun.
Very close to Ville Parle station, the approach roads would be very crowded on weekdays..
We reached there around 1:30 & went for the buffet, could get a table easily & the place was not very crowded.
Food : Starters were good…many chats , salads, pasta, & kababs. Even the veg kababs were decent. Main course had a good combination of veg & non veg dishes, most of them were good however nothing extraordinary. Deserts were good too esp the gajar halwa & choc fudge. 3.5/5
Ambience : Decent and relaxed. 3.5/5
Service: Service was sloppy as mentioned by many other reviewers. Had to literally stand up & wave to draw attention of waiters….They handed over a feedback form with the bill. I gave an average rating for the service after which the manager came & started giving me explanations like it was Sunday & there are parties goin on..blah blah ….Eventually he asked me to change the rating on the feedback form to which I politely said “NO”… …now that’s what I call focus to improve service levels ….2.5/5
Damages: 489 (incl taxes) per head for the buffet (Sunday)
Overall Rating : 3.5/5

They have a VFM afternoon Buffet on sundays, whilst the a la carte is pretty good to excellent. One of the few restaurants that got a Margarita right! three times I have been there. Some of the unique deserts were also pretty good. Worth a visit.
The meat dishes are made excellent & for the diet conscious they have wheat parathas & will make food with minimal oil!
But the deserts are the killers, there goes the diet......All this & then made to order Paan at the table what more can you ask for?

"Well begun is half done". I have never seen any place handle reservations and seating as efficiently as this place. The staff is very courteous. The service was good from the begining to the end though the rotis were a bit slow in coming.
They have two levels and the decor is nicely done.
We went there not realising tht they only have buffet for lunch but it was well worth it. They have a very good spread and every item was yum even some wierd sounding ones, unlike a lot of places where only a few would be good. The black dal is fabulous.
A place you must visit. Overall was very impressed.
Damages: Rs 800 for two including a bottle of water (Rs 90)
