Drinks are tasty but wont make you ROCK!!!

All in all Hard Rock Cafe was a fun night.....

The drinks were good but too light for their price. We ordered the Long Island and Long Beach and they could have had more of a kick.

The vegetarian pasta here was my favorite. It was just the right amount of spice and sauce.

When we got there at 8.30pm it didnt look like anything would be rocking.....but by 10:30 the place was crowded and filled with youngsters.

Good if you want to grab a few drinks at a relaxed place....

Cheers....

Hard Rock really rocks!!

If ur a die hard rock fan.. this is a place you cant miss!! Like all other foriegn restaurants.. Hard Rock is truly a symbol of all that is american and rock music. With artists memorabilia displayed at every nook and corner, u cant help but get transported to the "americanised" world.

Bookings start at 8.30 so make sure u have a table to your name or be there early to get one of your choice. Once your in the music kinda gets to you. the foot starts taping, you start swaying.. that's d effect of good quality pulsating rock music!

service is kinda slow.. with the people themselves busy (probably some kinda brotherhood.. they all look similar even the girs!!) probably thts why d entire "YMCA" jiggle.

the food portions are good though dont have a limited selection for vegans. but the food is totally worthy it!!

now d drinks are topnotch. if ur bored with wats on the menu.. take a walk by the bar and ask the bartender to make sumthin special. [hint: try at your own risk. mine was mind blowing :) ]

a great place to hang out wid office buddies.. a rocking nite..cheers!!

Does it really rock???

Everybody has covered everything, said, written but WTF here goes.

Having been to a couple of other HRC did not really want to change my mind about the one here. But BIL & sister wanted to go since they have never missed any, wherever they have visited(thank god bangalore was not open)

Large place, with No valet parking (at least the day we went there). Go in & its pretty large - good - The sound was nice, with a lot of old music also being played, being a great follower of music, it was no surprise that I understood nothing of it.

Liked the seating, polite waiters, though once in a while a hustler would come on....But then the bad things started....

Margarita - screwed up with not even a hint of tequila. Regular whiskey did not even hit after the 3rd one.....makes one think of anna down the lane.....the bloody mary tasted like virgin.

The chips cold, nachos with dips as if going out of style. The BIL wanted a ice cream to round it off....when asked they said it would be a scoop....turned out 3 scoops of diff...vanilla, strawberry & something else.

BIL got into a discussion(americans call it discussion since it is english & with accent, we would call it arguement) since the glasses were not allowed to be taken. (Reasoning by HRC that abroad they include the price of glass in the drink, my take, the price here is similar)

Overall, would not return for the following reasons:

1) Driving is too far & parking is a problem, though have a driver.
2) Do not like the drinks
3) Till 9 it is fine, after that the sound gets to me.....age i guess
4) All my friends refuse to accompany me for the above reasons only.
5) Much better places to spend the same amount on.

I got more than satisfaction.

Rock music being associated with young people , Hard Rock Cafe was definitely not my first choice of a restaurant especially when I was meeting a friend after a long time. But she had been there before and was convinced that it would appeal to my family - its great rock music, super large servings and distincly happy feel is a surefire lifter upper to any droopy spirit.

We were not disappointed. The huge cavernous cafe with Rock memorabilia was mind blowing. The restaurant was empty when we went but it soon filled up.We were a bit shocked by the number of young children wandering around but when we saw the humongous proportions of Ice cream sundaes, we could understand what was the USP for these young diners. Also, the entirely friendly and casual atmosphere where you could truly scream and talk loudly perhaps made it a better place to take the kids rather than some stuffy place where fellow diners glare their displeasure when a child runs past screaming.

We had fried potato skins for starters and onion rings which were simply amazing. Despite the large portions, we still had a main course each but had to give up on the dessert as there was just no place for more.

While the place is not exactly cheap, it is totally VFM with the large servings that leave you completely "fed up". Besides, the cheery waiters who suddenly burst into song add to the young and lively atmosphere of this place.

When you don't really want to have much conversation but just enjoy the atmosphere and good food, Hard Rock is the perfect place to unwind with old, familiar , rock music pulsating in the back ground and the happiness level way up high.
