Who knew Mulund?
I am a little picky when it comes to being overly generous with rating a joint. This place was quite nice. It was late one night I ended up there with a bunch of friends. It was in the middle of the Mumbai "winter". The breeze was extremely comfortable, the booze nice. The hookah's didn't necessarily develop the right head of smoke as one expects, but then again noone there was all that good with the hookah puffing... The chicken wings, or spicy chicken wings were mind blowing, great if your sitting with friends and drinking and want a feel of spicy-ness on your palate. I would definately come here again, 'cept that while I stay in Andheri, there just aren't that many occasions that I come down to this part of the city. I would recommend it to anyone who ends up at the R-Mall in Mulund, and wants to chill someplace different from your regular Pop Tate's.... Not too expensive either. I do agree with all the other dudes who complained about the seating, I too did not find it all that comfortable. Its the kind of place that builds an ambience of relaxation and general sleepiness, and the problem is that the seats are so uncomfortable, that it actually distracts from the overall experience.... Still I hope they do open one up somewhere closer to where I stay, it'd be a great alternative to the usual places that I go to hang.

Tucked away.
This is a Nice place for people who want to get away from the usual hustle bustle of food joints, which is not far away , just step outside Timbuctoo's gates and you have Pop Tates and Urban tadka ..Lol.
Timbuctoo is good to the extent ot ambience and food is also reasonably good but the one thing it lacks is comfortable seating !! The concept of wooden benches might be nice but not comfortable enougH. Other than this detail, i wouldn't mind coming to this joint again.

This place is one of the nicest 'get-aways' (if you can call it one) in mulund. Nestled in a corner or the terrace balcony of R-mall, mulund (an otherwise overly crowded, noisy place), once you step into their premises.. you literally leave the world behind! You don't need to go to goa to get sand in your feet :)
Great ambience! Good rates, great lighting, good music, and then there's Yayati (a.k.a. McLaren), the Manager, who ensures everyone there feels special. Don't miss out the blind fish in their aquarium (it's got no eyes). And for those who get too 'shushegath' at timbucktoo.. just step outside to Pop-Tates and get alive!!

i disagree gr8 seating arrangement
okie here goes....... one of ma favouratestest place.
doono how da fello din like da seating arrnagement it really rocks! the service is really good da staff is very well beahaved n on their toes all da time ! ask for it and u get it!
its also like really well priced! food,mocktails,hukka its all good! although now dey have a fuulfledged menu in place dis place is NOT recommeneded for a proper dinner ! like starters,drinks hukka is all fine but for ur main course u do have urban tadka,cream centre etc, around! but over all a gr8 place to chill wit a bunch of friends in da evenin!

Nice place but bad seating arrangements
I had been to this place couple of times, ambiance is just great, pastas are very good. Never order a pizza there. I am not into non-veg food or hard drinks so won't be able to review it. The only bad part I noticed was bad seating arrangements, there was no back support for the seats and the height of table was pretty low, so it was kind of difficult to eat the stuff. (Though they had some new tables and chairs with back support)
They should do something about the seats, that's it.
