Not very filling

Well I went to Crepeteria the other day and I ordered a crepe and a nutella milkshake..

the nutella milkshake was out of the world, but there was sooo much nutella and ice cream in it that i started to feel sick.. the crepes are kinda expensive at i think about 80 bucks a pop, and the quantity is also quite small...

it should be eaten as a starter or a light snack..

I personally dont know which crepe i ordered, but i think it was something to do with new york :s

Anyway its quite good, but yeah there is scope for improving

When can we get some authentic crepes ?

Was quite excited to see the menu since they had soo many options in the sweet and salted crepes. Tried the crepizza and nutella. Fun to see how they make the crepe.

First of all the crepes were hand held and the paper was really had to tear so had to keep going to them to have it cut. The crepe itself was nice but nothing extraordinary. More like a roll but a crepe instead of a roomali roti. It contained onion, capsicum and mushrooms in a sauce.

My friend ate the Nutella one where they put it on one part of the crepe rolled it up and added ice cream. The result was almost like having ice cream in a soft cone with a spoon, very inconvienient. And you could barely taste the nutella.

Service: I think the guy was a bit clueless. He asked me if i wanted to add mayo or mint mayo. Can you even eat it with that ?

Damages: Crepes range from Rs 40 - 55 while the Nutella one is double at Rs 95.

Verdict: Better than Crepe Station ? Yes any day. But am still waiting for someone to serve good authentic crepes without needing the frills to make up.

Best Crepes in town....

I tried this new crepe place that opened a few weeks ago at Mega Mall in Andheri(west). It seems to be getting a lot of business. So they have an incredibly long menu with an impressive array of available toppings (including all combinations of various fruits, nutella, chocolate, ratatouille vegetables, paneer etc.) I ordered a savory crepe (Arabic Tahini) and I was very impressed with the taste and its freshness. The place scored more brownie points, as it also served the crepe in the "whole wheat" batter.
They also offer you a choice of different sweet crepes. I ordered the Nutella Thrill and Tiramisu and they were good. They serve the crepes folded up in a hand-holdable configuration, which I prefer to the folded-in-half option.
I did not try the side kicks and the beverages, but on my next visit (very soon) I am surely going to get my hands on them.

I give the place full marks for cleanliness and excellent service (especially the manager). I would definitely return.

Fresh and Excellent

I have been to Crepeteria at Mega Mall a couple of times and the experience has been truly novel. They have really brought the authentic crepes to the market which should excite the Indian palate and disappoint Crepe Station for serving inedible crepes.

The savory and sweet crepes have a good variety to choose from and the taste is superb. The staff is very friendly and its a delight to watch them make the crepes right where you stand. The owners are pretty involving and open to customer reviews as a bid to constant improvement. I would definitely recommend this place if you are looking out to try something new and different. They have even opened up at Pali Hill, Bandra and Oberoi Central Mall, Goregaon (E).

Go, have a try. You won't regret it.
