The entry to this place had a lost appeal for me - one, due to a very unwelcoming reservation staff member and two, even after making a prior day reservation I waited for a table of 3 for half an hour. And what pissed me off was the fact that there were a few empty tables where we could be easily accomodated.
Anyways, We straight away went in for main course when we got to the table. We ordered for roomali rotis and a speciality naan (heard a lot about this overly priced bread) along with Dal bukhara and a paneer dish (thick gravy with paneer stuffed with peas).
While the Dal bukhara was excellent, i was fairly disappointed with the paneer dish and the butter roomali roti which was chewy after a few minutes. There is minimal variety on the menu and not too many options on the desert list either. This place is highly overpriced and although the food was good, its def not worth the price. Damage for 3 without drinks & starters - 2000 bucks! II have been to other equally expensive places (Saffron for ex:) but have been happier with the meal as compared to this one.

WG's continues to be at the top of my dining options when it comes to North Indian fare. Was there for a working lunch yesterday and it was a pretty good choice going there.
The place is huge, though they cordon off areas during lunch to keep things manageable. Like most ITC run places the service is quick, friendly and informed. We were seated and the menus were produced almost instantly.
WG's is an amalgamation of different kitchens under the aegis of ITC, so you get the best of each restaurant under one roof. In this case the jewel in the crown is their Dal Bukhara, recipe sourced from their crown jewel Delhi's Bukhara.
We usually get the paneer makhani which is different from the others, in that they use peas in the dish while most others just do simply paneer. To be different we got the Kehkasha which is a mixed veggie with a relatively dry tomato sauce, corn and potato. This thing was spicy, too spicy considering we had to get back to work. Not a bad dish, just not the most friendly.
The breads were slightly disappointingly, the Naan & Roomali, no one does bread as well as Masala Kraft.
The meal was fantastic, the place is roomy, well light for lunch and equally dim and private for dinner. Very popular and very busy for dinner especially.
Service was excellent, some of the best.
Damage was total, lunch for two without drinks 2800

ITC Grand is way out there in the scheme of things, however i think almost all ITC restaurants do great stuff with the food. Hankering for some Indian and wanting to try something new we trekked up there. got in around 10.30, it was still reasonably full. seated promptly we got down to business. Dal Bukhara, fantastic, really really up there with some of the best Dal experiences of my life.Paneer makhani with some other veggies different but delectable. The Naans and the rotis were ok. the pulao rice was great too. overall a fantastic meal. anyone looking for good north indian should venture here.
the damage was total. 2300 without drinks.
