Went there in the day time - didn't really make an impression. Though the soup was good, the food didn't appeal to the senses ... and then there was the 'owner' who was embarrasingly loud and lining up his boys - which was uncalled for. The first floor seating was 'under repairs.'

I first went there when I heard they had free wine for women on mons, tues, and thurs. I had never been to this joint before mainly cause had no clue what "SODA" suggested ! lol!
The place is small, but the blue lighting on white furnitures give it a nice feel. I was recieved at the entrance by a smiling steward who showed me to a smoking table in the a/c section. I ordered for a white wine (the free one ! ) and some snacks- Egyptian prawns & Mozerella cheese fingers. The prawns were nice, Mozerella cheese fingers were cripsy till you bit into it to feel the melted cheese. It had been fried just right. Music was good- they played old houe rock and hits from the 80's. Overall it was a chilled out experience. But after an hour it got full, and then I realised it gets cramped for space. My verdit- Good food, Good drinks, Nice rates, Good music..but Small place.

If you decide to eat at Soda, you will find that it is quite a happy experience from start to finish.
From the colour schemes to the music, from the smell of incense to the tasty food, from the free wine for women to the 'Happiest hours', from the opaque lighting to the soft candle light, Soda is quite engaging.
The menu offers you different creative choices. For example, the 'Murgh tikka chat' which is of mouth watering quality! The meat is succulent and the food is fresh.
For those of you who want to eat simple food, the biryani is excellent.
Mocktails you can try- 'Blue heaven'.. 'Roy Rogers'..
Soda makes a dedicated attempt to please and it does on most parameters.
The place is small in size and big on clever creativity. The service is average.
As a suggestion, Soda could be explored as a venue for a small private party also.
If they froth it up some more.. good ol' Tate's may need to pop a Soda!

I myself keep visiting soda for dinner, and I throughly love the food! It is sad that people are so used to eating junk food full of spice and stuff that they fail to realise the authentic preparations. It's a nice place, small but the abmience is excellent and food is completely delicious. Very reasaonably priced, they have the widest menu people can choose from...I would personally recommend this place, being from the hospitality industry myself. Their sizzlers are to die for...

We went there with high expectations, but what a disappointment it turned out to be.
Although the place is quite cramped (I think they have about 8 tables on both the floors combined), but the menu was as thick as the bible. They claim to have several cuisines - Thai, Malay, American, Indian, Chinese, Mediterranean, Sizzlers etc. The lighting on the top floor was too dim, we had to strain our eyes to read the menu.
My broccoli pasta salad tasted stale. The food serving was not coordinated at all. They served one guy on our table but didn't bring out everyone else's even after 35 mins.
I am not going there again, nor would advise you to go.
