I have been seeing this place since quite a few months but never actually tried eating out here.
I and my few friends stepped in with a skepticism as to how this place would be.
The first thing that impressed me was this Chinese looking lady greeted us with a smile & a question " Table for how many "
We said 5. She took us in and made us comfortable on a table for 6. We went in and the 1st thing what impressed me was its ambience. There were these Chinese lamps hanging around as well as Chinese wall paintings .
There was a chinese horoscope zodiac signs on the table.
We ordered for Bacardi, Non-Veg & Veg Starters, Non-veg & veg Main course. They gave us a complimentary extra Veg Starter . We told them we needed to celebrate a friends birthday. They arranged for a small birthday cake with candles. It was great to celebrate a birthday at Peking Tom.
The food was tasty, good in quantity as well as reasonable priced. They gave us a Fortune Cookie which had a astrological prediction for the day.
A dinner for 5 costed us around 950 Rs.
This place is worth visiting.

I wonder why this place hasnt gotten enough positive reviews - it certainly is a great place for Chinese food, even if slightly - no marginally indianized. Sharing the same management as Pop Tate's next door - as well as the bar and the restroom too - good value for money is assured.
i have found the Sichuan fried rice/noodles and the malaysian curry heavenly - though not the combo :) On average you can order anything off the menu and they wouldnt disappoint you. From time to time they hold food festivals - the last I attended was the seafood festival - which had quite an extensive range of seafood dishes.
Service is good and the waiting time on weekends is to be expected - though not as much as Pop Tate's.

This place is forever crowded and I was quite amazed to see that no one had written a review for it. So here goes ....
If you want excellent Chinese and Thai food accompanied by good service and not dent your wallet by a lot, this place is a must. The Thai moneybags is a novelty not found in any other place. You can blindly pick anything on the menu and be assured that it'll be good. Else, let the manager or waiter decide for you. Must have visited this place atleast 10-15 times and have always enjoyed the food and the very hospitable service staff.
Prices are average with a meal costing approx 200 - 250 per head.
