Treat for the eye, not for the mouth sadly. The ambience was great - the bell peppers @ the kitchen was a nice touch.
Food was average ... by default they thought we wanted 'spicy' food and the 'Penne with Chicken' was crap. The Lobster Thermidor was quite good ... The range was quite limited and the hostess tried to help - charged me the same for the chicken penne (not in menu) as was mentioned under lobster thermidor !!! Crazy ... guess that was the most expensive dish in the menucard.
Ordered Pina Colada 'Virgin' (not on the list again) ... charged me Rs. 50 more than normal Pina Colada. How ridiculous can you get ... Desert was Tiramisu - worth dying for. Only reason I didn't abuse them before going out.
Damages Rs. 4500 for 3 with one drinks and no starters. Please please DO NOT order whats not there in the Menu.

Superb Sundried Tomato Pesto served with bread & breadsticks - And the best part is that they kept it flowing
We also sank our teeth into some wonderful chicken salad & an assortments of cold meats as an appetiser
Dinner was a pasta variant (lil squarish individuals stuffed with goose liver) in saffron sauce and a canneloni with a vegetarian filling
Desert for us was a 'Rum cake variant' served with ice-cream and a superbly executed fruit sorbet...
All of this with a round of drinks for 4 of us set us back by about Rs.6000/-
It was a Saturday night and we were there at 9pm... Only two other tables were occupied and then there was just us... Guess that made us the cynosure of their eyes... A lot of wonderful service made the whole experience worthwhile

This is THE BEST Italian restaurant in Bombay. Chef Giovanni has done a great job on both the menu and the service.
The atmosphere is very friendly, attentive and in fact homely. The food is amazing and authentic Italian. The Tiramisu is to kill for. It is one of the best I have ever tasted.
The ambience is very romantic and cosy and the place is not filled with trashy crowd. It's always very classy and discrete. This is the must visit place for great Italian food with amazing service. You will never go elsewhere.
