I live in a place where all the cafes are in a striking distance from home: Coffee Day, Barista, Mocha, Revedore and Coffee World. Heard Costa is coming too.
But Coffee World really takes the cake by offering home delivery services! That professionally brewed cappucino served piping hot on the lazyness of your bean bag over a game of scrabble on a lazy chutti evening is just too good to be rated you know!
Even at other times, they give me good coffee when i decide on meeting a friend for a quick coffee at 12 o clock in the night, and they dont ask me to get lost, but they rather patiently wait on me while me and the friends have a good time over coffee.
So much for the hospitality they exude for the customer. Trust me, if you have a good staff serving in your food joint, you really have half the battle won because it all matters a lot!
Down to the coffees, well, that is the only drugs i do. And out here, my favourite is the good ol Cappucino. Heard from friends who sample the rest of their coffee menu, that the Flavored latte, the hot chocolate and the iced latte gold is too good too! I've sampled the rest of their wares too, and I like em, but Cappucino is what i prefer to go with. All coffees are served in Pro and Alto variants (Pro would be around 400 ml, never tried the Alto, but I guess it should be 600 ml!!!)
Their food selection is also good. You have a simple selection of fresh tossed salads and a yummy selection of fresh sandwiches. 5 breads to choose from: White, croissant, French, Panini and Waffle.... woo hoo. This pampering makes my day, always! The Smoked chicken n'pepper is an absolute favourite!
CW has a dessert offering also, but somehow never gotten down to it! So someone try it out and let me know! Burrp!!!
