So we popped into Chopsticks a few days back as we were in Marine Drive, desperately hungry. Pizzeria was crowded and Chinese felt like a good idea. Therefore Chopsticks.
I'll talk about two dishes that we ordered:
We ordered pork spare ribs which were not bbqed properly and still had tons of fat sticking on to the ribs. Nice sauce though. Second was crispy honey spicy lamb which was one part deep fried-to-a-crisp lamb to one part star anise. I kid you not.
Maybe it was a off-night in the kitchen, maybe its because we walked in pretty late. Ah well. They serve alcohol but don't let you smoke which is a pet peeve of mine with restaurants. What's the idea?
Anyways, worth a visit if you are in Marine Drive and desperate for Chinese. Just hope that the kitchen is still interested in cooking properly when you enter.
