Nothing extraordinary!
I've really failed to understand the gung-ho about Cafe Mocambo in these so many years in Mumbai. And to figure out the specialities, I get going there with experts who recommend me the place! But darn, the first time it was a flop, the second time "Just Pass"
So, this joint has some movie shoots to its credits. So what? The food is the regular western stuff - Pasta, Lasagne, burgers and the works. nothing that distinguished itself from the rest of the so many places that get you the same food. And they were out of Dessert!!!

Clubs and Burgers - Yum!
Cafe Mocambo is the place for club sandwiches and burgers. For a hundred bucks apiece (served with french fries and coleslaw) its value for money. Just one sandwich or burger and you're done for the meal. Do try the chicken club sandwich or the special. A thumbs-up for the Fillet-o-Fish burger as well - scrumptious!
I've usually gone for dinner and never faced the bad service that all the other reviewers are talking about. Guess I'm just lucky!

Terrible service, rude waiters
interesting menu and decent food but terrrrrrrriblle timelines. Yes the waiters will assure you of a 10-15 minute wait by it ends up being close to 30-40 mins. I agree with previous comments to the T - we had the same experience where the waiters suggest that we don't know when we place the order!! Rude waiters who are curt and brimming with bad attitude. If i ever find em in the street - i'd give him a kaan patti. lol Service was once half way decent. Its the pits now.Don't plan office lunches there - trust me they take too much time. NEVER GOING BACK!!

Extremely disappointing
The Menu mentions that all orders will be ready in 15 - 20 mins, Does not happen...First they took way more than the promised time and then accused us of lying about when we placed the order. The only good thing was the chocolate moose, but will never go back

Disappointing Service
Had heard only good things about Mocambo Cafe however, was disappointed with the overall experience
Our order took over 40 minutes to arrive. The waiters accusingly told us that "its only been 10 mins sir!"
Food and deserts were decent, nothing out of the ordinary.
Wont go back.
