not bad...
got there around 2am last night. starving, with no places to go other than crummy 5 stars or trattoria we decided to give Gulmurg a shot simply because it is close to where we live.
its a regular restaurant in the Shalimar Hotel, no great shakes, however it is famed for its Makhanwala dishes and Rotis both which they dont serve that late.
We got some spring rolls (ok, over crisp) Paneer manchurian (Not bad) and fried rice (not bad) for the time at night, they dished out something decent.
However the menu isnt expansive so that does limit your choices to mostly appetizers.
