One word... "Consistency"
I have been ordering cakes from Preeti Chopra for the last 3-4 years. May it be any occasion, the cakes just have to be called from Sweet Passion. I have never been disappointed with the quality - in fact I would say that it just gets better and better with each order. Sweet Passion is pretty popular in Chembur, probably the dessert place of choice for every Chemburite.
I agree with Namita about the accessibility issue of getting to her place but believe me its totally worth it. In fact, need not worry about it coz if you order well in advance they deliver too, atleast in around Chembur.

Birthday Cakes
Sort of difficult to spot the place if you have not been there before. The watch man tries to stop you before you enter the compound! Also the parking inside is a bit of scary to a new driver! That aside the cakes are just great - we have been ordering for the last 2 years.
They donot provide a knife (unlike Monginis!) and the packing is a bit crude (especially for the 3D ship cake!).
Neatly done; @ 550/kilo for a shop not in a commericial setup is a bit steep!

Best cakes in Mumbai
the Place Rocks we have been ordering all OUR Cakes for over 3 years. Preeti the owner of the Place is very Passionate on thisone. Highly recommend the fruitcakes

Best place for desserts in chembur
Undoubtedly the best place for cakes and desserts in this side of town. It has an extensive menu with some mindblowing flavors and all kinds of shape cakes for children birthday parties and anniversaries. The quality is the best and pricing is quite reasonable. They have a personalise website too called www.sweetpassions.com where they have put up all their goodies.
