i had visited Dubai for a bit, and the best thing about the whole experience was the arabian street food. Especially the Shawarma. This little stall, which i always thought was affiliated to Shalimar Cool Point, (maybe i am wrong) makes undoubtedly the closest version of an authentic arabian shawarma in Mumbai.
It is smack dab in the middle of Dongri, which is the atypical "bhai" area, and visitors from the MiddleEast are a frequent there.
Priced extremely affordably, the big rack of meat gets roasted right out on the street, which seems to be the hook to get customers into the little joint.
all in all a great snack if you are in the area

When i say Arabian, i mean it good arabian Shawarma. For all those people who have lived their share in the Middle east, this is snack haven. The lone man there who runs it is very friendly and goes out of his way to see you get the Chicken shawarma the way you want.
Dont hesitate in ordering soft drinks, he gets them for you.
Ask him for a Lebanese Bread, with little chutney if you want to know how the Arabs like their shawarmas. Else you can try it the popular way, ask for the special pav he has kept aside for the INdian taste.
Make sure you ask for extra mayonnaise for all those Mayo fans, coz it just cant ge tbetter without it.
Oh and the price, its priced at 25/- and 30/- depending on whether you have pav or bread.
