We used to go to this place all the time back in high school so I have some great memories from there. To be honest, I think why it was so popluar with us was because (a) it REALLY worked well with my Rs. 500/week allowance at the time and (b) they seemed to be the only ones willing to serve a bunch of 15-16 year olds beer!
Whatever the reason though, this place is truly fantastic. The food is great (probably the best chicken makhani in town), the bar is well stocked and the rates are very affordable. To top it all off the ambience is very welcoming and down to earth - no uppity bouncers or page 3 types here - just good salt of the earth folks out for a night on the town.
I still go back here but admittedly not with the same frequency as before. Having said that though, it's always a treat to visit trusty old GC.
