Had a good experience the first time i went here, but the second time was a disaster, very bad service, food was blant, chicken was not cooked properly....
If you more than 5 ppl, please dont dare to go here, as the waiter will have no idea what you have ordered, let me just coke or a fresh lime....
And the best part is if you have done a booking, dont even think that you will be getting the table as they have no clue abt it...
And last but not the least, please dont forget to check the Bill, as there was stuff which we asked for but we never got it, but yeh it was billed for sure.....!

I visited this place with my friends on a Friday evening. The ambience was good. The place was not crowded at all.
We ordered for starters (veg & non-veg ) and the main course (veg & non-veg ) .
The service was not up to the mark. We needed to remind them to get our order. The starters arrived after the main course. The waiter was serving as if he is doing some kind of a formality just for the sake of serving.
The food was quite less in quantity as compared to the price.
Starters + Main Course costed us around Rs 1600.
All i could say is " Not worth it " ........ " Naam Bade Darshan Chote " .

the first thing you notice about kareem's is its gorgeous interiors and ambience.and for me ambience is one of the most important factors which go on to decide if the restaurant gets a thumbs up or not and kareem's certainly gets two thumbs up !!
the other brownie point is its open kitchen....watch your kebab being made right in front of you !
so onto the food first we ordered for a veg.platter which was really very filling.
next to the the main course and the paneer makhani was awesome....so soft was the paneer ! i had heard a lot about taftan and so i went on to order those and i found it so delicious that i went on to order another 2 !!
finally we ordered the malai phirni and frankly speaking it was a complete and i mean a complete letdown ! it was more of a kheer than phirni.
the service was good and the waiters were very friendly and the prices were moderate.
so all in all a good experience !

The one thing you HAVE to order here is the Taftan - an arabic bread - small, round and white - and unbelievably soft - just melts in your mouth. Being a hard-core non-vegetarian, I never thought I would visit a restaurant just for the rotis, but the taftan is just heavenly ...
The menu is completely desi, with mughlai and biryanis occupying most of the place. And though the name may sound like being a non-veggie's delight, there are equal number of veg dishes to go around. And they have a open tandoor, so you can see your kebabs come right out of the tandoor ...
The ambience of the place is all quite nice, though the chairs/benches could be a little higher - its a little uncomfortable to get in/out for anyone over 5"9'. Infact compared to its Bandra and Andheri cousins, this outlet is quite upmarket, being situated in the posh Palm Court complex and a meal for two will be atleast Rs. 400
The staff is quite friendly and the service is good. Another interesting observation - though maybe just a co-incidence with me - was that the veggie dishes somehow ended up tasting better than the non-veg ones :) !! Yeah you heard it right ..
Tip - the head waiter (tallest one around) is quite knowledgeable and you should let him recommend some dishes to you ...
