If you need a home delivery
We were having birthday party in office, everything was ready..Food & fun..music...only the cake was missing, as CANDIES was NOT on time? Ultimately, it arrived when part was over.There attitude was quite casual towards the late delivery.But the cake was very delicious.

Monopoly Rulers
We had ordered for our Office Employee's Birthday party.We had been repeatedly told the order cannot be cancelled. Though they can deliver it at their own sweet time.
While most of my guest had left, I insisted to return half KG which was separately packed. But they were very rude & not cultured & flexible to take back the part order.
Bottom line many Good things come along with lot of problems packed together......

never on time!!!!
never trust Candies to deliver on time!!!! this place has good items on the menu but.... BEWARE if you are asking for a delivery!!!! your guests will have left by the time the cake arrives.
We had placed an order for 3 cakes for an office party which was delivered an hour late!!!! on checking with the delivery boy we found that he had left the shop at 2 pm with an order which was supposed to reach us at 1:30 pm. All my repeated calls met with the same standard response that the cake is on the way while it had not yet left the shop!!!!!
My complaint fell of deaf ears & Candies staff had no concern that they were losing a large customer permanently. This was the first time we had ordered from Candies and will never repeat this mistake!!!!!

Amazing seating nooks and great food and ambience
This Candies caught me by surprise. I had come to associate Candies with crowds waiting for a table, waiting for a take-out and crowds waiting for divine intervention to help them decide what on the succulent menu to order. This place is huge!! The seating area (or should I say areas?) are beautiful, quiet and interesting. They span up three levels of open seating in a Mediterranean-style white veranda scheme and have tables and seats in nooks as well. Greenery all round and the tables are not cramped at all and the music is low but great.
I just wish that they had at least the menu at the tables. Self-service and then trundle three floors with the trays is not my idea of fun on a lazy Sunday afternoon.
Food is great as ever. But the ambiance blew me away!! Must visit.

The pick of the litter
If you've been a Candies regular over the years (like I've been), there's nothing new to be said about the place that hasn't been said already...except if you're talking about Candies' latest avatar on St. Andrews road. God knows Candies could do with an expansion, and this outlet is a big, big step towards that. It is by far the biggest of the three Candies in Bandra, and (to my eyes at least), seems to be laid out much better too. Delightfully enough, the fellas over in the decision-making department decided to give the patrons some actual seating area spread over two levels, one of which is under development.
It's the same old wine in a brand new bottle, and it gets better with time. The chicken n cheese drumsticks, lasagna, chocolate milkshake and various bread rolls are all highly recommended as are the cinnamon tea cakes. Indulge and enjoy, for good things no longer come in only small packages...size does matter, and this place adds a much-needed dimension to the much-loved franchise.
