Never ever

What happens to a place when it gets a few decent review?

It goes down the drain obviously!

The first time I visited this place, I loved it!
So i dragged my friend there for a quick bite but unfortunately my experience with this restaurant recently left me scarred.

It was a simple order. A Chicken Burrito, A Teriyaki Roll with a plate of fries. Now I wonder, how can somebody screw up such a simple order?????

The roll was one of the worst I have ever eaten. The "burrito" was roll made out of maida which tasted extremely raw. I think they also forgot to put salt, pepper or anything which will remotely add any taste to it, because it was bland as hell.

They served me the roll absolutely cold and I had to ask them twice to heat it for me. The fries were decent but very little in quantity. The Teriyaki roll was a weird collection of baby corn, spinach and some odd tasting cheese, which left me and my friend highly disappointed. They don't have mustard sauce and one has to make do with very watery tomato sauce. We didn't have the courage to try out the desserts after this.

The bill for this whole experience was 300 bucks!

Enter at your own risk and only if you are craving below average food.

Worst place to Hangout!!

'World Of Wraps' or shall I call it 'World Of Craps'???? This place totally sucks.....actually this place was just 4 days old and was very ineffectively managed.......Its whole point of setting up the place in Bandra next to Amore Ice-Creams was just a flop show for them as they would not even be counted in the race for good places to hangout...period!!

As we entered, I saw the place was too small to fit in a bunch of people....also the place was shabby....the plastics n papers thrown below the tables itself n not even cleaned up.....

We ordered for a Paneer Power Tortilla and a Hot Chocolate. The Tortilla was not hot and was not cooked properly....it was like we were eating a Jail Roti with filling in it. The Hot Chocolate was even worse than the regular Bourvita which made me remember my School days!!! To improve our taste, we had Ice Creams in Amore's...........Yummie!!!!!

The service is pathetic ....u hv to call the waiter frequently to place the order.....The worst thing in addition to the pathetic service & cuisine was the Movie being played on the Plasma Screen.....Though none were watching that, we managed to sit in a place which was exactly in front of the screen....The movie being played was a very old C grade movie of Juhi Chawla n south hero Chiranjeevi on Zee Cinema.......

I dont think they are even close when it comes to knowing consumers tastes and perferences..........This was the worst place I had ever been in 5 yrs in Bandra that too on Carter Road.....Must say World of Wraps really Sucks........Sorry to say this but I totally disagree with the 1st review written for this restaurant!!!!!

However considering that it is only a week old, this may be tested once more but this wasn't expected from a restaurant opened in Bandra West.........

If someone has a different opinion, thn please let our Fellaw Burrpers know !!!......Thanks & regards.....Vikas......

In a world of its own

If you are familiar with Bandra, then you will definitely know one thing.

You can never ever go hungry there.

Why??

Because there are like a zillion places to eat in the area and more opening up everyday.

And thanks to the galore of hungry people invading the city everyday, one more place had made its entry to satiate all the starving souls.

World of Wraps is a newly opened joint at Carter road. Now you don’t need to be a mathematician to know what kind of food they serve. Wraps of course!

Now I am not just taking about simple plain wraps. They are the very exotic kinds.
Example? The Jalapeno and Shanghai Chicken wrap is to die for!!! The strawberry mousse and the peach ice teas complimented the wrap perfectly. But unfortunately, the fries they serve along with the wraps were soggy. It seemed like they had re-fried it some old fries and served it. But I was ready to overlook this error because the other items made me really happy! Then there were tortillas of different fillings such as mushroom, spinach, jalapeños, zucchini etc.

But if you are looking for variety, then not to worry. Their menu is not limited to warps only. They have a variety of shakes, desserts and coffees, tortillas and lot more! The average price for a wrap is Rs. 80 (with fries), while a dessert will cost you around Rs.70.

The interiors of the place is done up simply yet tastefully. The staff is really friendly and most importantly, they don’t hover around you while you eat. The place is a wi-fi zone, so you can spend couple of solid hours there, while been in a different world of its own.
