Really good!

I went there a month ago with my mum & I truely loved this place.

We had butter nan, chicken kadai, veg pulao, gulab jamuns & gajar halwa..all of which were delicious. The chicken kadai was perfectly spiced with succulent chicken. The gulab jamuns had an amazing flavour of saffron. The gajar halwa was good but too rich..definitely not for diet-conscious ppl.

Service is decent but it was quick for the firangis & rather slow for us aam aadmi....I wonder why!

Makhanwala Craving

These guys have home delivery and is a regular quick fix option when i need to get a quick meal in. I did this for lunch today and was not disappointed with the Chicken Makhanwala I ordered. Still oily as heck and the most frequently ordered dish, this staple from the mughlai age is always a welcome meal.

May i recommend the roomali roti instead of the naan as it becomes rubbery by the time it reaches home...

All in all, 150 bucks for the makhanwala and two butter naans, you can't go too wrong...

One thing I will say... by the end of it, the meal had me burrping!!!

good chicken biryani

went there a few days ago, used to be good at one point yesteryear - but now its gone to the dogs.Bathroom is worse than the public urinal!
Good food for those in a tight budget. Chicken in the biryani is not boneless - so its a bit annoying.
waiters seem half stoned so their suggestions cant be taken seriously.
gajar halwa was nice :)

Very average!

Wanted to get Indian food delivered to Wellington Mews and this was the closest restaurant I could find who would deliver. Tried Moti Mahal at Nariman Point but could not get through and wasn't sure if they delivered anyway.

Ordered Chicken Briyani (average), Dal (average), paneer masala (poor), bengan bartha (average) and naans/rotis. Bill was Rs 550 which was very reasonable but overall experience was poor-average. Doubt if I will order from them in the future.
