This place is a Haven for Lovers of Malwani Food. All the Coastal people flock here.
This is in a by lane and away from the main road opposite Century Bazaar so getting there needs some Hunting. Get across the Road from Century Bazaar and turn Right, you would see a Bata showroom - Turn left before the showroom and walk for 30 seconds to discover the Place.
Fish is a Hot favourite for this Restaurant and also for with a taste for Coastal Cuisine. Try the Pompret Fry and they wont let you down - There will be the sharp smell we aqssociate with Fish but then that is how they serve it.
Chicken is made in a peculiar manner and is very Pungent. Do try Chicken Do Pyaaza with a special Roti - Kombdi che Wade (Kombdi in Marathi stands for Chicken)
Kombdi che Wade is like a Puri we eat put it has a Thick base and is rounded and fluffy - It is a Non Veg Dish so dont get Confused.
There is a Pink thick shake called - Souul Kuddi, this is a favourite with most people who have a meal and they use this as an Appetizer.
All Food Items are on the Spicy Side and ensure you tell the Waiters in case you need some Respite.
I suggest that you top off all Dishes with Lots of Lime and Onion to enjoy it the way it has to be had.
There are 2 Seating areas - Ground and 1st Floor - No Airconditioner available. Sit on the 1st Floor as the ground floor gets too Noisy due to the Kitchen. Avoid the Corner Seats on the 1st Floor next to the Basin as it gets very Uncomfortable.
A Non Veg Meal for 2 would cost you around Rs. 175.
Do try it out and experience the Flavour of Maharashtrian Cuisine from the Coastal Region
