This was recommended to me as a nice place for multi-cuisine grub but was a let down. They have peri-peri veg dish which is nowhere close to the original peri-peri sauce in taste. Not a place for foodies to experiment with offerings from the menu. If you have tried and tasted n liked something best to stick to that. They have good mughlai food and desserts. Overall a nice place to go if you have somebody who knows this place and what to order here.

Pop Tates has built a reputation for serving food and drinks in a great ambience for just the right price.
This place serves the best chicken wings. I am a big buffalo wings fan and this location has the best taste.
The service is very good considering how busy the place gets and the ambience is quite wacky.

Considering the fact that the delivery boy looked pretty spaced out when he entered (he admitted that he's new in town and joined recently) plus the fact that Pop-Tates is quite far from our office, the food was here in about 40 Minutes. Not that great a timing but the guy on the phone was honest enough to let me know that the order could be a little late since it was a busy day at the restaurant. A pretty heavty, juicy Grilled Chicken Club with some fries for Rs 102.50 inclusive of all taxes - not bad eh? It sure did fill my stomach right - just what I needed on a late lunch.
Definitely a better option than Subway which is around the corner. I particularly didn't like the SW here in Andheri-East I don't if it's the bread or the Veggies but they are just not juicy enough.
I am surely going to opt-in for good 'ol' Pops when I feel like a Sandwich and so should you :-)

Ventured over here for lunch the other day as I was slowly getting sick of Subway. Turns out Pop Tate's is not so much a wannabe western diner - it IS a western diner! We went during a not-so-busy time of day (around noon), and ordered a Penne Arrabiata and an Omelette, which came complete with french fries, garlic bread, and some flash boiled vegetables. I stayed away from the fried stuff, but everything else was delicious. Other things on their menu range from sizzlers, to hamburgers, to sandwiches to pizza.
From the look of the ambiance, the restaurant tries to give a very western feel, using a lot of red and blue throughout. The atmosphere generally screams "fun", but there are some random oddities, such as Pokemon-like animation on the walls. Music is enjoyable, mostly blaring American classic rock, pop and 80s.
I also noticed an ad card on the table with respect to their happy hour, which I believe they call Smiley Hour. Not sure if they have hard, but they definitely have beer.
All in all, a great addition to the busy Saki Naka area. As soon as this city learns how to fix a fu*king pothole, this will be a decent area to head to for lunches and happy hours.
