Place good, People good & food Amazing......

This is a place where, as soon as u enter ur taste buds knw ur in for a ride of a lifetime... it has a good & very decent crowd, dont be surprised if u happen to bump into 1-2 celebs... its a place where food is really good & the prices are high... We went for a Sunday brunch & was good in for a food fetival... I specially loved the prawns, salads & the sliced meats & the oyster(Raw) its a buffet system & u jst treat ur taste buds to the fullest... The deserts are good & the best i have ever had.....
all in all an amazing experience..........

Good food does not come cheap

Just came back from Olive, Bandra and I must say that the food was impressive. We ordered the artichoke and mozzarella skewers for appetizers. They were both really good. We the let our waiter decide on another appetizer and he brought the mushrooms. Now take this from someone who does not like mushrooms.....AMAZING......

The entrees were above average and pricey.

All in all it was a good night with pretty good food and a nice ambiance.

Try it once and relax at the bar in Olive if you have time to kill.

Cheers....

Confused

I am on the fence on olives.....the food is above average, almost hits the spot but it is a little pricey. I always ask myself if I lived in London or New York would I actually frequent Olives? The answer is probally not and the fact of the matter is that I reside in Mumbai (Not to sound like a brat, but I would eat at China House if it was in another city as it is the best chinese food, my point was comparing olives to other resteraunts in the same space) So whenever I am craving Italian / Meditranianish food I head over to Olives. I have been here over the years and have found a certain amount of consistencey in service, food and etc....their duck is okay, australian lambchops are excellent, ravioli must be avoided and their apps are adequate. So i guess I am confused because good food but nothing awe inspiring.

Bartender cant make a decent Martini

I had the worst martini in my life at the Olives y'day. I couldn't believe that any body can screw up making a martini. But no, the supposedly hip place in town can't make a martini to save their lives.

Of course, anybody who goes to Olives, has to deal with the rude Maitre De and generally bad service.

Only saving grace was the food was good.

not bad

was there last night for a few drinks and some soup. great ambiance, fantastic setting, crowded and very much like a SCENE more than anything.

so after half a bottle of wine and some very good soup we split. though i have dined there before and the food isn't too bad it is still over priced (about as much as Indigo but food isn't as good)

damage 2200 (4 glasses of wine and 2 soups)

service is slightly scatter brained.
