We could have been in the Maldives....BUT..
great location, great cocktails, great food, great ambience BUT the same old fateful letdown that ALMOST EVERY single Mumbai restaurant gets SO SO wrong..... a winelist with half of the wines "not available sir". For God's sake, reprint winelists when your stocks change or you run out of them, I ordered 4 wines last night before they actually had one in stock AND my other pet HATE.... when waiters say "but this wine is available sir" and it's twice the price of the original wine I chose. Mumbai restaurants, and that is almost every single one of you, get your winelists in order!!!

Great Place
First i looked up on burrp! to see what this place had to offer, i was really looking for the menu because the night was planned around dinner. From the reviews i got an idea of what the dining experience would be like. The place was simply amazing, great decor, great service, good food and i like how the exterior is now closed and air conditioned. The music was awsome too. Def recommend this place! for a good dinner, not a place to go on a Friday though (too crowded with hooligans and bunch of drunk people)

Different but expensive; too loud
The starters were kind of unique and so was some of the food. The Salmon I got wasn't that great but the pasta my wife got was a great mix of Indian and Italian, aniseed flavored. Oh I almost forgot, it was supposed to have crab in it and I think we found about 2 small pieces in the whole plate (well they do give a lot if pasta :)) Music was too loud if you expect to actually have a dinner where you can talk.

GREAT PLACE
First impression is the last impression...as soon as you enter, the aura of the place is awesome. The ambience is too good. Very Very Romantic Place. Great food, specially the starters. Staff is very warm & cordial.
Just for strict vegetarians the choice is limited (But trust me whatever they have is too good)

Rocking place to sip a few on the rocks
Contrary to popular belief, the tag line 'house by the sea' actually goes fantastically well with the ambiance of this place. Cool breeze, the soothing sound of waves and the candle lit setup is just so apt for an alcoholic date. I actually felt like getting drunk on the Jack & Coke (s). Will make it a point to come back with my wife the next time I am in Mumbai with her.
