propped up in a very unlikely neighbourhood.... the staff is friendly but opinionated.. and not very attentive...the food is delish... the nargisi paneer kofta vegetable is mind blowing... beware though the dishes are yummmy they are not conventional... the taste is a bit different from the run of the mill "paneer and chana" tht we are so used to... they have a very snappy shikanji drink and a crunchy very unique spinach chat which will leave u wanting for more... have fun... (they have a pan guy inside the restaurant.. the paan is good)
the prices are good... the only problem is that the service is a bit slow... tht gets a bit tiring... a must try for indian food lovers..

Angeethi......what to say and what not. This restaurant is good in some ways and bad in some ways......
Now the first thing is that the booking process below is very irritating since the tables are empty above but they make people wait downstairs may be to show that the restaurant is full but that is not the case because I have personally seen it.
Food:- No doubt about it excellent, the veg tandooori platter woh... its jeera rice and dal makhani gr8 taste.
Drinks:- It used to be very cheap at the time it just opened. Because of that corporate crowd used to hop in in the the evening.
Otherwise this place is good
Service:- Very bad and take lot of time to serve food. The people who have lot of time to spare can go there and take the advatage which is very rare in such 4 star places.

Angeethi is a good place. Food is also nice and the food quantity is excellent.
However, I had a nightmarish experience recently. I found a tiny cockroach in the Kesar drink I ordered. I found it only after I finished drinking it!!! The dead cockroach was floating inside the glass.
I immediately brought it to the notice of the steward who was serving me. He took it away and came back with an amazing response - "Sir, this is not cockroach but Olive seed"
Thereafter, they immediately offered me a 'FREE' kulfi. The fact that they did this was proof that it was indeed a 'cockroach' and not 'Olive seed'.
I am not the kinds who would create a scene and ask for a discount. But I did warn him that I will speak about it to everyone.
I have eaten at roadside dhabas all my live. So I was cool about the cockroach. It can happen. But the attitude of the staff was irritating.

The food was good but booking was not allowed on phone, the logic for which I fail to understand. For people coming to exclusive places and spending more would definitely want to book in advance.
However, some of my friends reached earlier as they were not booking and waited. and waited. and waited.
After about 1.5 hour of waiting (boy my friends had patience, of which I waited for half the time) and seeing people walk in with bookings (how? we asked but no reply) we went in.
The lighting is a bit suspect with some table well lit while others not so.
The food was good (whenever it came). The service was slow. The two stars are for the chef.

food spread was very varied by large but i guess the price is a bit high charged as everyone can not eat in that quantum Rs 390 per head in the buffet; available only on wed/ fri/ sat/ sun though weekends it is priced more than week days
