For those who love music, this place rocks to the music palyed by their in-house DJ. Unique thing about this place is that it has wide variety of drinks to offer, Good food (specially North Indian), well mannered staff, Cosy atmosphere makes it the best place to get relaxed. Be sure to be there by 9.30 - 10.00 and you can enjoy till 1.30. You won't feel like leaving the place. Take my word on that.

You see a lot of people coming here for an after work drink.
One very unique thing to this place is that the serve roti and dal with all the starters and main course. The veg dishes are priced around Rs 160 - 250. The paneer tikka was quite good.
They serve a really mean green apple martini. Service was quick.

We may have gone with barely any expectations, but Indus far exceeded them.. We have just found the perfect hole in the wall for drinks after work on Friday.
After a long discussion and looking at at least 20 places on burrp! we decided to head to Mondy's for drinks on Friday night after work. As usual, Mondy's was packed and we agreed that something quieter might be better. I've been to Indus a long time ago and vaguely remembered it to be decent. So we walked past bade miya and bagdadhi and walked around the block to Hotel Diplomats, Indus. Its divided in two sections, one upstairs and another one downstairs. We got there at about 7 and were the only patrons till 10ish. It might seem dingy at first but is in fact really cozy and comfortable.
We ordered, a round of drinks, a cheesy potato starter and a paneer starter. Surprisingly, our starters came with tiny pieces of roti and a small bowl of delicious daal makhani. We liked the daal so much that we ended up ordering a portion of dal just to eat with some roti. :) We ordered another round of drinks and starters as well, reshmi chicken kabab and another paneer one. Simply fantastic.
At about 10, when we were finishing up our last bits of daal, roti and kebabs a few people started trickling in. Cool bunch of people - there to have some good conversation with buddies over drinks and some excellent food... just like us.

Really classy place at affordable prices. It has the mix of a lounge as well as fine dining. Booze and food is reasonably priced for the kind of ambience. If you are a non veg freak please try the Chandi Kebab. It is worth dying for !!!
