Theek thaak
The other day our entire team went over the Phoenix Mills compound to catch a drink or two. As both Brew Bar and Sports Bar were unavailable for some reason or the other, we decided to reluctantly head over to Noodle Bar.
This place has a distinctive restaurantish ambiance.
For the first time the waiter was quite prompt in taking our orders. For the second time we had a hard time trying to catch his attention. Also the "water guy" was hell bent on leaving some of the water glasses on our table, inspite of our telling him atleast 5 times not to do so. He said that his manager pressures him into doing it :-(
Anyway, as the place was not too crowded, we had a really good time. The beers were served nice and cold. Unfortunately they didn't serve us any snacks (chakhna) to go with our beers.. but we did order some appetizers like Spring Roll and something chicken (not sure about the name).
Overall an okayish place, but next time I'd rather go to Brew Bar when I am in the mood for an after office drink.

Run by retards...
I think this restaurant might be run by retards. I pledge my case to you:
1. The restaurant clearly has operating hours posted outside, stating they open at noon. The first two times I came here at 12:30, they were not ready to take in customers. WTF?
2. Waiters started fighting with each other with two tables clearly occupied by customers. I wanted to go over there and settle it for them by shoving my foot up both of their as*ses!
3. After having requested the bill, it took them 20 minutes (and some yelling) to get, which we paid by credit card. When this took an additional 10 minutes, we asked what was wrong, which was followed up with the token response, "our servers are temporarily down" - upon further investigation that we took upon ourselves, they were actually printing out last night's credit card take through the machine, hence tying it up. This set us off...we slammed cash down and got out of there.
About the food? It's average at best, and nothing about this place will give you that authentic ramen or soba feel (the city sorely needs one!) - just another Blue Foods cookie cutter concept nightmare. Not going here again, and am considering actually burning the place down...

Excellent Business Lunch
With Lower Parel evolving as an important Business District, Noodle Bar can emerge as a place of choice for a business lunch.
My highpoints for this place...
i) Most people are here for business lunches; so, the atmosphere is not very loud
ii) Their choose-your-own-noodle-recipe makes the options unlimited...very good thingie if you have to go there frequently!
But its typically rather busy. So, if you are in a rush, book beforehand.

Nice Place for working lunch
A good place for a working lunch aka lunch with business associates.
The food comes fast, the seats are not meant to lounge - ensuring that you wrap up within the hour. The staff is attentive but does not hover around you and the general ambience on a working day is of working people from companies around the area. Gets the job done while being a close walk from the office (for most people who work around Phoenix) and has reasonable variety and not so cheap prices.
