Our friend decided to check out this place to collect the menu for take-away and it has pulled down its shutters.

This old Lokhandwala haunt, near the Green Acres complex in Lokhandwala, is known to many for it's long-standing history. It's supposedly as old as most of our country's politicians. Being in the mood for Chinese home delivery last night, we gave it a shot. We ordered the staple Veg Haka Noodles, which were surprisingly made of a thinner noodle than the normal haka noodles (think angel hair pasta vs spaghetti pasta). They were fairly bland, and I thanked the man upstairs that I had a fiery bottle of Sirucha red chili paste at home. The second dish was more pleasant - Veg in Hot Garlic - but it looked and tasted suspiciously like Veg Manchurian. Either way, it was enjoyable.
All in all, if you live in the area, it's good to taste a bit of old Lokhandwala history, but I'd opt for Mini China or Sernyaa for solid home delivery Chinese/Tibetan food the next time.
