This is a small place which you can easily miss if you're not looking for it.
It is a small place with few outdoor tables. Not sure if they have an A/C section. They have done it up nicely with lights and all on the hedges giving it a secluded feel. The best thing is it is quite empty so you can have the place all to yourself.
It has a very limited menu but totally worth it. Ordered a Jalepeno poppers, a veg club sandwhich and caramel custard.
The poppers were more cheese than jalepenos but since my friend had a yearning for something cheesy she loved it. They made the club sandwich with brown bread as per my request. It was huge and two people can easily share if not tooo hungry. The filling had zucchini, broccoli in a masala gravy and a slice of paneer. Was yum without worrying too much about the calories. My friend loved the caramel custard especially da fact that it was soo cheap.
Service was good and the waiters knew the menu and what exactly went into it unlike a lot of small places where the waiters are clueless.
Damages: Rs 250
Definately going to frequent this place more often.

Reading the great reviews, had been meaning to check this place out.....Was on pick up duty for my daughter from her dance class & convinced her that this was the IN place etc. etc.
We were the only people there, but as my daughter says' place, layout, bicycle on the wall rocks'
She asked for Caipirojca - from the young lad - with a dhoni type pigtail - and was mightily impressed that he pronounced it correctly, gave her the ingredients & served it chilled...had mint & was worth the couple of sips I managed to steal.
Suffering from cold & fever, I opted for chicken manchow soup. Came piping hot......the first spoonful.....ecstasy....hot, tasty with chicken in every spoon....blew the cold & sinus wide open.
Followed this up with bruschetta - completely differently than other places, cheese seemed to be missing but had a unique flavour of its own. And the quantity was large - think 8 pcs, so acted like an Ender than a starter.
But had already ordered the standard try out - Margherita Pizza - A large size again, enough for 1 person's full meal. Extremely biscuity thin crust, with just the right amount of cheese, made me think of the one I had at the Taj President years ago....
Too stuffed to do anything else except leave, looked at the sweets lustfully on the way out.
The service was extremely friendly, a tad slow, but then we were in a hurry & the Sardarji smiling away the compliments & asking us to visit again....which we shall do.....since it Rocks!

I discovered this place after visiting burrp since I live in the neighborhood. The pleasant discovery I made myself though was that this place, hands down, beats all the cafes in the area for an espresso (or other espresso drinks) along with some biscotti or other pastry. I actually heard the grinding the espresso beans and boy, did it show in the taste! Amazing espresso, amazing almond biscotti (homemade I'm sure), and great friendly service. I hope this place survives, given its cute, but slightly hidden location (it's near Poush, the famous Kashmiri place in this area).
I call upon all Lokhandwala-ites to patronize this business regularly. They deserve it! Follow me to freedom, people!!

Everytime our cook goes to his village, we look to our trusted Grissini for our fooding options. They are located just around the corner from where we live, but most of the time we end up placing a home-delivery order.
While, I cannot vouch for their non-veg items, I've tried pretty much all their vegetarian options - Penne Arrabiata, Margharita Pizza, Roasted Tomato Soup etc. They food is delicious and the service prompt.
Hope they keep their food and service standards.

After a hearty meal at Grissini last night, on my walk back home I was musing about the local businesses scene in Mumbai city. Ten years back I would have to take a 10 minute ride to eat good food at a good restaurant. Now I have a choice to walk to any of the 15 options available to me within a 1/2 kilometer radius. :) :)
Grissini is a month old bakery cum Italian joint that's opened in the quaintest gully near my house. It's neatly designed with an open kitchen and lovely outdoor seating for about 30. The menu ranges from breads, cakes, sandwiches, burgers, pizzas and pasta. The pizza and pasta menu is limited but has something for everyone's palate.
I saw it on my way back from work a few days back and was tempted to buy some Banana and Walnut Cake (Rs. 55) and Brown Bread (Rs 25). The Banana cake is tasteful yet not too sweet (just the way I like it) and the bread was really delicious too - wholesome and grainy. The bread may seem a bit overpriced but both the loaf and slices are fairly big (perfect for home made sandwiches).
Last night, I was tempted to go back to try some Italian. We ordered a roasted tomato and basil soup (Rs. 50) to start with... it was the one best i have had in a long time with distinct tastes of roasted tomatoes, basil and crushed black pepper. We also had a chicken pizza (Rs. 125) and a veg arrabiata pasta (Rs. 95). The thin crust cheesy pizza was delicious, the pasta was slightly pungent but not bad at all. It was full of fresh veggies. I'd say delicious for the price I was paying for it (1/3 the price of a little italy pasta)
Would really recommend this local little eatery to everyone who lives or works nearby.
Oh almost forgot to mention - They don't accept credit cards. The only con so far.
