Ever thot of dining in a rickshaw or having a cozy meal in d palki, u can do that at firangi. ITs well lit placed, lovely ambience, very colourful interiors with respest to diff seating styles, exhorbent menu, but d food was not lip smackin or out of d world. though d starters were better than d main course. Mjurg achari kebab, murg tikka is what we called for n it was jus fab. for d main course we called for murg chakori n murg dil e bahar, NO exotic flavours. Jus avg kinda food. D food doesnt call u back to firangi dhabha, but d ambience does. so its a good plc to have starterts, drink n chill n relax coz anyway d waiters dun interfere, they dont bother to come to d table only. esp on weekdays,..

Firangi Dhaba is no more than a "different looking" restaurant. The place steals one's attention with the interiors - Old rickshaws, low lying tables so that one can sit on gaddis, etc. to give a unique feeling to its ambiance. But alas,it all falls flat, as the service is pathetic!
Whether its drinks, starters or main course - they take ages to serve your order. But I have still given him a 2.5, as the food that was served was better than the service.
We were not even going there, but then Adda; the lounge above them was full and we didn't had an option at 11:00 pm in night.
Keep Firangi Dhaba as the last option if you are planning to dine in Andheri West!

I absolutely agree with the previous review on this restaurant. The food, no doubt is excellent but the service is pathetic. You are better off ordering in at home coz anyway the restaurant is tucked into some quaint gully behind Fun Republic and is impossible to find if you are not acquainted with the neighborhood. Its been a while since I visited and I dont really remember what we'd ordered but everything is excellent. The masala chaas was awesome, i remember having two glasses (refer to pic :D) Too bad, a good restaurant loses out on points coz of sad services.

The first time landed up at firangi dhaba, i fell in love with the place...I actually had my dinner sitting in an Auto-Rickshaw... the place smells and feels punjabi from the moment you enter... be it the decor, the innovative menu or the overall ambience... its very tasteful and brilliantly executed... and the food is also not a letdown at all... be it the tandoori stuff, dals or the curries, every dish tastes amazing... and more importantly authentic.
BUT, BUT, BUT the service... what should I say...it is so poor that all the pluses mentioned above are totally negated... if you are a couple, dont even go near that place... coz the focus is only on large groups (4+).
Overall, if you are in Andheri, you are better of going to "Pratap's: The Dhaba" at Oshiwara (Similar ambience and food, and much better service)... or "Urban Tadka" at Four Bungalows (The BEST food, but 1-1.5 hrs waiting on weekends).
