Went to Hoogli recently with a friend and both of us loved the food.
Its mainly a small mostly takeaway kitchen, with Al fresco seating outside. I'd suggest the takeaway option more than the al fresco.
We ordered Fish fry & deem devil for starters. The fish fry ( 2 pcs) was excellent,. the deem devil is a very interesting concept, a deviled egg, encased in mutton mince.
For mains we ordererd The Daab chingri, which was aslosultely outstanding. the resentation was fab, the flavour was something else. Its a brilliant combination of coconut, mustard and prawns cooked and served inside a tender coconut shell.
The Mutton curry was also really nice.
For Veggies we ordered the Chechki which was also very good.
The prices are reasonable & servings are quite generous
all in all a great experience for all you foodie's.....!!!!
