Surprisingly Good

when i entered for the first time , i got good vibes of this place.. food is good , potato wedges too good & the mayo dip with it is jst yummy..Juices are too expensive..the kitchen & juice counter match the name aptly " open affairs ".. green chutney is also good...Place is too congested & cannot accomodate a big grp together..surprisingly good quantity of food.. Service too slow & waiters might end up forgetting orders..
overall nice place to be & hang out..

Excellent location, so so food

I was quite excited to see a new place open up on Bandra's un-official khau galli! But when I visited this joint, I was very disappointed with the service and the food. Their menu seems quite eclectic with a wide variety of choices. I ordered a soup (awful) and a Chicken Stroganoff (yuck) - neither of which I finished. Nuff said.

Suprisingly good quantity

One of the few places that offers a multi-cuisine experience at Carter Road's 'Khau Galli'. A pretty exhaustive menu includes Continental, Tandoori, Indian and even Italian if I am not mistaken!
The ambiance is kick ass, sit inside and cosy with your date or chillout with your family and friends or sit outside and take in the cool carter breeze!
Well, if there is no breeze, worry not, the food will definitely provide a heavenly experience!
And oh the kitchen and the dining area are divided by a glass where the chefs are busy preparing mouth watering dishes!
Anyways me and my friend ordered for a continental starters, fried chicken pellets...if I am not mistaken, which was quite YUMMY!! low in quantity but high in quality! :D
Next we had a main course mughlai dish and were quite surprised with the quantity which was comparable to Grill Cottage next door and that too at just 30 percent more cost!
The gravy was finger licking good and the chicken nice and soft and tender! We had a combination of naans and rotis.
All this with a nice chilled Ice Tea (which was quite awesome) made the whole meal very enjoyable.
The total bill was 680 bucks but without the starters (just the main course) I think it can easily come to 150-200 per person.
Overall, a very nice meal in a very nice restaurant at a very nice location, just about perfect for any occasion.

2nd time on TUESDAY had main course & biryani & veg. raita which was excellent to taste and perfect ambience with not more noise and all tables were still full.If you go to this place have the biryani & raita you wil love a lots its nicest place for foody people and the crowd is also descent.......

Finally a multi cuisine restaurant at Carter Road!

Went there last week with my honeykins n didn have time to write a review for this one but amongst the arrays of restaurants clustered in that coffee day lane this one really stands out. For a minute i thought they'd renovated the famous crepe station coz its completely hidden by this new joint. The food quantity is awesome i had some main course chicken with mashed potatoes n baked veggies in mushroom sauce, it was pretty good (uploaded a pic of my dish too)...heh heh!! The best part is that it has variety from continental to a darn good variety of Indian full course meals like butter chicken and biryanis with rotis and dals and also alot of kebabs for starters. I think its the best joint at carters wit an open view of the chefs with the long white hats doing their thing..... Real neat, a must visit for a good tantalising evening date, specially since Mumbai is encountering its coldest of days in a long time. So an awesome idea of sitting in the outdoor section getting batted with the cold seaside breeze & scrumptious aromas of the appetisers taking you to a different high.
