Went on a weeknight with a bunch of friends to this highly rated lounge. It meets up with most of its hype and offers an excellent experience which can be termed as unique and one of a kind in the city.
The design & decor of this place is top class and the live performances are a must see (check out the gig calendar on thier website and choose accordingly). Another great feature of this place is its cocktails. Very well made and offer a huge variety of drinks. Pricey though.
The only let down is the quality & range of food. As correctly noted in the previous review, this place needs to improve a lot in this category. Not only are the options too few but even the taste is strictly ok.
All in all, its a perfect place for a great evening but its heavy of the pocket. You can easily shell out 2k pp for drinks and food.

Liked the ambience a lot.. the live music was fantastic.. but they should seriously think about quality of the food. And yes, some more items in the menu would be great.
And yes, a note.. it is pretty much heavier on the pocket. It should be listed as very expensive.
We paid 300 per person for entry fee (not cover charge).. the food was pretty much costly too.
Would like to rate this one as 3.5 as it stands somewhere between average and good.
Overall, a nice place to be except the food.. music lovers will really like this place..

Hello,
Been there once, and the experience was amazing..... Ambience is out of the blue!!!! Cocktails / Mocktails they offer are really great.... I tried the drink of the day and that was a strawberry Margarita with some crushed ice.... A great summer cooler... Had a lookup on the wine menu and they seem to have some of best signature French / Californian wines... Also tried falafel, however was surprised to see that they don't serve pitta bread with Falalfel we got chic pea bullets with some hummus, however the bullets were good..... I ordered the soup of the day which had brocolli and some Italian cheese in that... that's one of the best Italian soups I've ever had.... This place is worth trying atleast once, whenever one is in Bombay...... Don't go by the exteriors as interiors take you to a different world.......

Finally, a world-class live music haven in Mumbai, with fantastic food, and amazing ambience. Blue Frog is truly a blessing for us poor souls who have been starving for live music, in a space that could really be in any of the world's top cities.
The last time we went, we were treated to a special performance by Ashu, who also happens to be one of the partners of Blue Frog. Ashu and his band hadn't performed for the last 15 years, and this did show in the first few songs that they performed. But once they got warmed up, it got a lot better. The last one hour was excellent.
The live music is obviously the main attraction of Blue Frog, but special mention needs to be made of the super space itself. It is HUGE, and not only by Mumbai standards. The amphi-theater style design ensures that you have an unobstructed view of the stage regardless of where you are in the club. The state-of-the-art audio setup is probably the best in the city. Add to that the scrumptious food catered by Rahul Akerkar (of Indigo fame), and you have the best club in India, by a mile.
