McDonalds can do no wrong! That is what I've been saying ever since I began chomping down burgers by a dozen at the Mumbai Central branch. Since our documentary (Dus Nau Aath, Kar lo Baat) was being shot in and around Mumbai Central, whenever the crew got hungry, the production people would head down to the eatery to grab some burgers. Since I've been a fan of the franchise for years now, I'd always eat there when I had the chance to (hungry or not!)
The Mumbai Central branch of McDonalds is a little different from the others, because it shares space with the Indian eatery 'Rajdhani'. So people wanting to eat at either place share tables there. I won't elaborate much on Rajdhani, because you're hear to read about McDonalds!
So the food is standard mass-produced fare (which I LOVE!). The McChicken is the best bet for the meat-eaters (like me!) and McVeggie for the grass-munchers. I somehow do not like the taste of the Maharaja Mac or the Chicken McGrill. The red coloured condiment is too 'squelchy' (if you know what I mean!) for my taste. The Filet-O-Fish is delicious, but it takes time to make, so you just might have to wait for some time to get your order! The Pizza McPuff is good if you want to have a small bite. Avoid Chicken McCurry like the plague! It's no good! McDonald's fries are the best, and so are the wedges.
As for the bevarages, fizzy drinks like Coke, Fanta and Sprite rule the roost. The cold coffee is extremely watery. AVOID! The McSwirls are nice, so are the milkshakes (The Chocolate one's my favorite! It's soooo thick!)
So bottomline..It's McDonalds, and as mentioned before, it can do no wrong! So if you're in the mood for a burger and are in the 'hood, head down to McDonalds for some 'food, family, fun!'. I'm lovin' it!
