It was my most harrowing experience to have called for food from this restaurant. It was a saturday night. My family goes out for dinner on most saturday nights, but that night as we were tired,we decided to call for food from this place which is very close to our place.
We called for Veg Sheekh kabab, paneer tikka, veg makhanwala ,veg biryani & rotis.
Firstly the food arrived after 1 hr 10 mins. The delivery boy was rude when asked why did it take such a long time when my place is only 200 mts away.
Then when we were checking the parcel,we realized that the quantity was very very pathetic.Specially the Veg sheekh kabab & paneer Tikka. It was 6 really really tiny pieces and the same with paneer tikka. When the boy was asked as to why this Qty is so less,he had no answer. He clearly said,in a very rude tone, talk to my Boss.
I personaly thought that it was be good to go sown personaly and tell the owner abt the qty and his delivery boy about the service so that he can work on it in the future.
What followed was a nightmare. The owner of this place was so ARROGANT that it was a shattering experience. He told me that people pay 300 Rs in big restaurants for this small Qty and that i should never call for food from his place.I was shattered. This man was so full of arrogance that i for the first time in my life was taken back.Either this man was frustrated in life or he did not care what his customer had to say.I was speechless.I left that Sheekh kabab & paneer tikka on his table and left.He did not even bother to replace it or anything.Where on earth would you find such rude behaviour? If only there was some kind of consumer protection against such restaurant owners.
When i got back home ,we started with the food and trust me when i say without being biased that the quality of food was not good at all.The Oil and his preparation was very down town.I suffered from throat infection the following day.
It was my family's worst ever experience.
I hope my review will help people from avoiding this place.
Have a nice day,

My husband & i were in prabhadevi 2 days back on work, when we realised our stomachs were talking n growling. To my luck, since prabhadevi is not much of a foodie place that i know off, at last i had the excuse to try out this dhaba.Luckily i had a driver that day cos theres no much parking space n its a tow away zone.
I stood in front of downtown wondering why did he call it a dhaba.....well the approach to the place is shabby n so is the ambience (there wasnt any ambience infact!!).But jus like all foodies belief its d food n not the ambience that matters. Not suitable for classy foodies.
Jus 4 tables placed, I was a little hesistant to enter, but the reviews of fellow burrpers gave me confidence to go ahead.A dark kitchen with gud no. of cooks at work, as i write this review i sit back to think if these cooks were worth trusting.....cos they kept chopping n chopping.
The owner gave us the menu n we were amazed at the variety n prices.Without scrutinising the place further I ordered for rajma masala, dal tadka, chkn kadai, jeera rice n rotis. After contemplating i decided to order for sweet lassi......delicious thick lassi. Food was homely not typical in restaurants.Flavour of Chicken kadai n buttery rajma was yummy....
Damage for 2 was 280/- A lot of office staff have lunch here. His shop next door specialises in chinese cuisine My husband was suprised tht he nevr knew of this place before.
Its a gud place to stop for a quick meal....not a run after kind of place.
Though apprehensive in the begining, I walked out of the dhaba happy n content. My mission was accomplished as a FOODIE.........No regrets!!!

The food here is yummy to say the least. Its a small dhaba which serves authentic punjabi food & chinese food. I havnt tasted d chinese food here but d punjabi food here is mind blowing..everything is so very tasty! Yesterday I had rumali roti, chicken tikka, mutton biriyani & butter chicken from here. The total bill (for 3 ppl) came upto Rs280 only...total value for money.
If u dont wanna dine over here..u cud tell em to home deliver d food..they charge an xtra of only 5 bucks as delivery charge.

On the rare occasion that we have time for a relaxed lunch at work and the weather isnt oppressively sweaty, we head towards Downtown Dhaba to treat ourselves.
This place is run by a surdi uncle aunty duo who treat us with with good fresh parental love and fresher white butter... just like the stuff u get in any dhaba in punjab...
The food is simple and tasty... hot crisp tandoori rotis, with steaming yellow daal and freshly cooked veggies.... or some succulent chicken tikka if you please...
and on request they give u a small, but satisfying bowl of white butter... yummm!!! and to wash it down therez the option of light masala chaas or sinfully thick sweet lassi...
the location isnt great... and for the hoity toity types the place is a tad grimy... but the food makes up for all those flaws...
a meal for 4 - 5 rarely goes above 300 - 400 bucks so its filling for the tummy and doesnt empty the wallet...
tho this isnt a place i'd travel far and wide for... for an afternoon with no work, its perfect!
