Else buy maggi noodles on your way out if you are the empty-refriger-at-home kinds!

Good ambience, good decor, i end up admiring their logo everytime i go to zenzi. also, i have always noticed the set of people flocking this spot turn really chirpy once they here; zenzi is actually a very good place to just sit and talk to friends over a few cocktails. i like the vibe of this place.
food is very average, i would in fact even skip it and go somewhere else, maybe china gate or golden orchid down the street. drinks are good but take a while to reach the table. zenzi also has an inside section where salsa music was being played and quite a few people were dancing (atleast when i was there the last time, it was a sunday evening, not sure if it was salsa night special or something).
all in all: definetely one of the nicer venues for the suburban people, who are anyways looking for an excuse to skip the tedious commute to town.

One of the most overrated fusion food places in town,
Go only if you like to hob nob with starlets and aspiring models,
Grossly over priced food- the lamb we ordered was a heap of boiled meat,
once again, exotic names do not a good menu make,

Hey there, well, what can I really say about Zenzi?
It used to be a really nice place to sorta hangout at one point.
I am not saying that this place isn't good anymore, its just that I think there are way too many people that come here, who are a little more than the 'look-at-me" types. That's great for someone who really just wants to hang out and check out what the latest trends might be.
Its just that this place gets a little too arty-farty for my tastes. The food though is definately tasty, I do have that nagging little itch at the back of my head, which is basically my mind asking me if the prices are worth it...
If you earn enough dough to go to this place regularly , and you like this kinda crowd, and the 'pretentiousness' of this place then by all means I would encourage you to go, you'd love it, its like the nighttime hangout for the folks who like to go to "Just Around the Corner" for Sunday breakfasts, dressed in their freshly washed, cleaned, and ironed "gym/jogging gear"...
I know I sound a little impartial, its just that, its not really my cup of tea.
This place has the food, the booze, and a decent turn out in terms of crowd, worth checking out if money isn't a concern for you.
My two-star rating in this particular case, isn't indicative of the quality of service/food/etc. It is more a depiction of how I feel about the place and the ambience...
Try the risotto, its not half bad. Ask for 'wasabi' if you are a fan, they actually do give you some pretty decently authentic tasting stuff.
Cheers.
