Got my money back 2012-01-21
Further to my previous review, I declare to the world that three and a half months, a couple of internet reviews and a police complaint later I got my money back from Vijay Packers. God bless them.
The moral of the story is: you can use them, they do the job reasonably well, but don't give them any money unless you are sure it is due (and before they've done the job to your full satisfaction) as they are not professional enough to handle bona fide complaints. -

My self Amrit Doshi from Gandhidham, Gujrat took service from M/S Vijay packers & Logistics, Powai, Mumbai. My experience was best with Mr Poonia And Mr Choudhary ( Who’s Head
of West Zone).I took the quote from three other vendors and found their quote medium. I found their contact details from my friend who shifted to Bangalore with Vijay Packers & Logistics. Finally, i booked Vijay packers for my shifting. They arrived on time and packed the goods very well and dispatched the lorry that very evening for Gandhidham. Cheaters, slow and damaged my stuff 2011-12-07
I hired this company to move my stuff from Mumbai to Pune. They took Rs.11,000, but insisted on a Rs 1600 octroi fee on top to move my vehicle. They said this was necessary.
After reaching Pune, I made an inquiry with the Octroi Department and found no money had been paid for my vehicle, nor was it due. In other words, Vijay Packers had cheated me.
When I contacted the concerned persons (S Poonia and Jagram Chaudhry) afterward to get my money back, they refused to speak to me about it, even though I have documentation from the Octroi Department to prove my case. They said,... read more -
