Glutton for punishment 2008-12-16
With hopes that there may have been some changes/improvements; visited it again today. Nay it has gone from bad to worse, the AC section was not working, half the items on the menu were not available & to beat it all, the samosas were better than BHEL!!! Oh how the mighty have completely fallen.... -

Once an institution by itself, has gone to the dogs......only the location with theatres & offices surrounding keep it going. The prices do not match the quality or the ambiance at all. -

Had gone for a movie nearby so decided to drop in considering it is a really famous place existing since my parents generation.
We ordered a dahi batat puri, a ragda pattice and a mexican sev puri. The dahi batata puri was decent. The pattice well you can do much better eating at roadside stalls. The mexican sev puri was basically like a small tart filled with schezwan sauce and loads of chese on top and baked. Hmmm thought it was mexican...
Damages: Rs 175 for 3 dishes and a bottle of water. Quite steep
