Good food 2011-10-13
Once a very big place now reduced to very small space. Despite lots of service issues, i think they still serve best punjabi food in ghatkopar. -

I had requested for home delivery from this restaurant assuming the same could be faster as I stay near to this place. But it took longer time to reach my home. But I was shocked to find out that instead of 2 veg biryanis, what I got was fried rice and manchurian. When I called back, I got another shock as tht person asked me if I can eat manchurian instead of biryanis. Why in the hell wud I want to eat that if I wanted to eat biryani!! I got my biryani finally delivered only after 2 hrs and the biryani quality was nothing gr8! -

After Meghdoot, which has been in Ghatkopar forever, this was a good fine dining restaurant to have opened up in Ghatkopar. I must have been in high school at the time it opened. It was a huge place, located at a prime location on M G Road. And if memory serves me correctly, it used to served alcohol too. This was one place that was always full in its hay-days. Even seen a few 'foreigners' here. I am not sure what happened, some say it was the death of the founder, but it sold off a large chunk of its floor space and what is left today is a hole in the wall kind of place with limited... read more -
