Worst Sizzlers ever 2012-04-02
* Poor service, took 35 mins for a couple of sizzlers
* Dark & Smoky - poor ambiance
* Food - sucks, the worst I have had ever. Looked like they use store bought ready to eat food, mix it up and serve, served uncooked food, food that had not thawed and some tasteless junk.
* am surprised they are still open -

never eating at yokos again 2012-04-01
I have been to Yokos quite a few times...particularly like the Santa Cruz outlet but the powai outlet is ruining Yokos reputation. Just been there yesterday (31 march 2012) for lunch with my husband and first my fresh lime water came without a drop of lime, it was just sugar water. It went completely downhill from there as we shared a chicken sizzler and found a cockroach in it. We did not wanna make a scene as others would also lose their appetite so we discreetly brought this to the attention of the staff and asked for our bill. Taste & Service definitely not up to Yoko standard 2012-01-16
Have been to the Powai outlet a couple of times in the past. Ever since it has moved to smaller place, both taste & service have gone for a toss. (It used to be where China House sits today, next to old Mochas, now Elbo Room) There are better places to try in Galleria and around Powai in the same budget -

Yoko sizzlers @ Powai horrible 2011-11-05
Few years back, when i visited that place first time...It was good...and few years later when I visited again and...I ordered veg sizzler there..........It I was terribly horrible.........I asked waiter..whether chef has changed....and worst part of my experience is that I was with my date.

very very very bad sizzlers at a heavy price 2011-05-19
yoko sizzlers being one of the sizzler brands i thought to visit this place.. i'd heard bad things about it 4m my sister who'd been to their chembur branch. so i thought powai wud be a better option. i usually always go to poptate's for sizzlers so i thought i shud try somthin new this time.. to begin with, i was quite happy with the service, the person greeted well n water served well, the waiter took the order on time n served it on time too.. but as soon as i had the sizzlers it was a total disappointment. i'd ordered for the waiters recommended chicken shashlik with fried rice. i understand... read more -

Yoko has gone to the dogs !! 2010-11-11
After over a year i decided to once again thought of going back to YOKO. The last time they ruined my evening over a year back. I thought they would have improved. Hence, once again I went to the Oshiwara branch outlet yet again after a long time and ordered Chicken Shaslik Sizzler, Grilled Mushroom with Cheese and soft drinks vide cash memo no 18968 dated 10/11/2010 table no. 13 arrival time at restaurant was 2015 hours. The sizzler when it was served was smelly of raw chicken and the rice too was smelling of raw chicken stock. The Meal was least appetizing and smelly. The steward serving us... read more -

gastro enteritis after eating at yoko? 2010-09-08
awful food ..poor ambience and to add insult to injury my husband had a severe bout of gastro after eating there. on this sunday....the place is a blot on the name of yoko's....anyone in the management bothering to explain ??????? -

Low on Budget, give it a try 2010-08-10
Went to this place with great zeal and enthusiasm as I was having a sizzler after a long time. I am not sure if our selection was wrong or the sizzler was just average. We ordered spinach soup followed by a spaghetti veg cheese sizzler and it was good. Enough for 2 people to gorge and feel satisfied. But when I compare this to the sizzler from pop tates it stands no where. But again am saying this may be because of wrong order (i dont like dishes in white sauce much). The place is really small. Bad Bad Bad 2010-05-15
I had heard a lot about Yoko's but tried it yesterday. Yoko's sell the worst Sizzlers you can ever have, excess sauce, over heated, stinking tomatoes.... About the ambience- it does not go with the name of the place at all. If you are a good observer you can clearly see seepage all over the walls -
